Yep and I may be mistaken but that sorta looks like tarmac.
The gravel exhaust was in insane patchwork of abbot 100 pieces all welded together...sevearal sections being flattened--on purpose, using oval tubing---

Cool, huh?

Gravel rally is really a war between stone and steel. Stone always wins in the end. You can try and armour a side exit but that danged gravel is a never ending force.

Re: FOX MUSTANG

Just occurred to me--2 pages of wondering about such a trifling thing as exhaust routing---because the fixation on V8..
.which I'm telling you will be the source of all kinds of frustration---including power delivery.--it seems hard to get V8s to deliver power in a way that is advantageous...and those few V8 powered cars in the past were really no quicker on "normal" stages than any old ordinary mid pack Golf.
So a lotta ultimately frustrating work to fulfill a personal preference.

Sure personal preference...
But that doesn't mean that we--who have seen the same car, same V8 fixation and same extremely frustrating stuff a couple of times before, can't try and save you from a lotta frustration---and maybe even get you into a more fun package....
Otherwise what's the point of even having a "discussion" forum?

We could close this down and all just go to Facebook and Insta-gram.

Yeah forget the dough, we're all rich from Regan/Bush trickle down economics and all the sponsorship dollah that has rained down because of all the millions leveraged by symbiotic cross marketing of media products ---just like Foggy Jr said he was gonna do on his Facebook page...'member
So screw the money, bring on the nubile cutinas!
