Why need a master delete at all? They are pretty stupidly priced anyways. Just bolt it to the firewall?

Yea just make sure you weld a reinforcement plate. Two little nuts and washers holding the master to the firewall are not enough, it might poke through the thin forewall eventually. Remember that area will see about 600 pounds of force.
