No but I am, and what John said is common sense. It's called "spamming".

This forum is for owners/builders/drivers/enthusiasts/amateurs, not for businesses to flog their products and services, which should be obvious in a few seconds by looking at the other topics. However since there isn't (yet) a rule banning businesses I'll let that slide.

Here's the new rule. If you're a business, you can start one new topic in the Buy & Sell per 7 days.

On the one hand, spam-a-lot wall of ad posts is dumb.

On the other hand, a vague classified subject: "we have stuff for sale" also sucks. What kind of stuff? Do you have Merkur muffler bearings?

Maybe there should be a Vendor Forum where BAKSHEESH is paid to my SuperPAC, or at least to pay for some of Skye's bandwidth.

I doubt there are enough commercial interests around to make an ad program viable; these things require resources to build, operate, maintain, and monitor - so those costs have to be covered before you actually MAKE anything. Even on a popular website you might get 1 in 50 or 1 in 100 businesses that will actually pay anything to advertise.

If a vendor makes a boring subject line that doesn't make someone click to find out more, that's their problem.... however if someone wants to make RA shirts or stickers or whatever, knock yourself out, as long as it's a break-even kind of project.

i'd wear the crap out of a rally anarchy tee. as long as it was black!
