Robert, I saw on FB that you think that the mk4 spindles result in less offset than the mk2 spindles and this makes up for at least part of the 3/4" spacing. Do you have any photos showing the difference in the wheel mounting face with the mk2 vs mk4 setup? A spindle & bearing assembly with rotor flat on the ground would give you the measurement.

I have held them both in my hands and don't remember seeing much difference in assembled height/depth. but never checked.

That comment was made from memory, but I can get a flange to flange measurement this weekend (possibly) to verify.

I'll check my photogs and see what I can dig up as well.

So I still haven't gotten around to measuring the track difference....

But! I did find a list on Summit of 12 and 14mm studs that have a knurl diameter over 14mm. This will make it easier for those that want to use a 4X100 pattern.

-Drill out one of the threaded 14mm holes (I'd use the one opposite the small threaded hole that's used to hold the disk on) with the correct size drill for the knurl on the stud.
-Bolt the hub to a 4x100 wheel, using the one new stud location.
-Use a transfer punch or a drill guide to mark the other 3 hole locations. The small threaded hole should also be the center of one, FYI.
-Drill the 3 remaining holes with a drill press.

I picked up the new batch of adapters this weekend.
I'll be ordering hardware on Monday, and I'll be able to ship them as soon as the hardware shows up.

Robert, What is the part number for the 4x100 Caddy hubs that fit the mk4 rear spindles?

And, where do we send money?

Robert, if you have any left, I'd be up for a set or two. I'm building a Mk. II next year, and since my other two cars are Mk. IV's, this would allow for much less spares.

Would these allow for a 5x100 disc brake conversion on the rear?

I could ship them out next week.

And yes, it allows a standard mk4 rear brake/hub/stub to be bolted onto a mk1/2/3 rear beam .
