Honda EG6 Rally/RallyCross Car for Sale
November 18, 2011 02:22PM
Overview:

I own more cars that I have time for, so I’ve decided to sell the 2wd fleet and focus on finishing up some other projects (house, work, life etc). I’ve amassed a significant amount of Honda parts and would love to do a package deal for a Honda aficionado who’s looking for a virtually turn-key program that can support a multi year campaign.

I purchased and built this car with the intent of running 2wd RallyCross and 2wd stage rally. The car competed in 2 RallyCross events and is currently being cleaned up and prepared for stage rally.

Background:

This started life as a Honda Challenge car and was raced at round #1 of the Global RallyCross series in March 2011. While in 2nd place with one lap to go, I “clipped” the wall and chassis was destroyed. A new shell was built and all of the parts transferred over. The car raced in round #3 of the Global RallyCross series and scored a 2nd place both days in SuperRally and RallyCross, only being beat by the Porsche 996 driven by a Swedish RallyCross Champion.

Still for sale. Open to reasonable offers.

I attached a couple pictures of the inside. Still in the process of getting the interior painted and new dash mounted.

How much for the proflex's? I can trade you in Bilsteins or DMS if you want.

I'm trying to sell everything together so not looking to swap parts out etc. There's a good chance I'll end up racing it again since there doesn't seem to be any interest in it, which means I'll want the Proflex dampers on there!

Bummer to see you selling it. I wish you had it for sale when I was looking to buy/build my car.

I'm suprised that no one wants one of the most competitive 2wd cars out there!

If I hadn't already built mine, I would have snagged this up. One hell of a deal, that's for sure.

Is this the same cage that was in the car back when it was a Honda Challenge road racer?

I can see this car fitting in the SCCA's new STL road racing class if it had a road race suspension and non-supercharged motor.

It's a new shell and cage from when it was a HC car but should be legal all the same.

Notice that everybody here puts a real name and a real location up by their name or in their signature..
Isn't that interesting..
Well it's a rule. Almost the only real rule..

Please fix things.
