Yeah, I wish it was easier to import cars into the states as well in cases like this.

Ah, Fords Homologation special for the old F2 class...
That motor has TONS of potential. 86x86 bore and stroke, big valves, nice manifolding too...230 bhp should be no problem...

And if its a B5 box, relatively affordable gears and final drives and diffs.

Shame about the RHD

Not sure if you've ever driven RHD before, but it's not difficult and very easy to drive here in north america.

Of course I have. Owned numerous RHD cars and driven 10s upon thousands of km with my RHD cars in LHD countries and thousands of miles with LHD cars in RHD countries...
My second car was a Austin A55 Estate bought when i was 17 in Bury St Edmonds in East Anglia and driven straight to Berlin in mid December snow storm, then straight North to Stockholm, then back to Belgium.

Years later had a RHD Transit van in Sweden, ex Post Office with a nice 2.4 York diesel.

Then had a LHD Ford Thames van, Swedish reg when I lived in Noting Hill in London

30 years later , like recently I've driven RHD Hong Kong registered cars in China.
It sucks.

Sorry man, I sold the car a while ago. Best bet for parts is to look in england. Ebay has some stuff, but you might actually have to contact a wrecker, etc to find what you're looking for.

Too bad the guy doesn't take the time to say what he might want or need to be made. Might be easier than he thinks.
