So it's pretty lame to make my first post to this forum a FS post but here goes:
I've got an '86 Audi 4000 CS quattro that I bought as a car to drive while I fix my Subaru. Overall this is a good winter beater or rallycross car as is. I've been very (VERY) tempted to turn it into a rally car but just can't make the financial plunge to do that right now. I'm asking $1000, pretty firm, as I've got significantly more than that in it. I'm located in Durham, NC. Send a private message and I'll send photos and answer any questions.
The good:
--New fuel hard lines
--New brake hard lines for rear (fronts are OK)
--New plugs, dist cap, rotor, fuel filter, brake fluid
--New battery
--New Bridgestone G-009 tires
--Various electrical gremlins fixed, all outside lights work now!
--AC system intact, compressor not seized
The bad:
--Moderate rust in trunk, perforation above muffler and below DS tail light
--Some surface body rust, perforation on passenger front of sunroof
--Moderate rust on body seams
--Needs rear calipers and rotors and probably a rear wheel bearing
--Still has a stumble coming off idle (I think the fuel pump isn't keeping up - it has a noisy pump)
--Trip computer doesn't work
--Dome light and trunk light doesn't work
--Windshield wipers won't park automatically
