So a $150 reduction in the regional, and $450 reduction national. By and large, competitors don't give a rat's ass about the sanctioning body beyond license costs. There're about eight or nine parameters that affect people's decisions - location, date, length, road type, who's going, who's organizing - and sanctioning body is just about the last thing.

Of course, that's not true for the 10% who're looking for some kind of national show with TV exposure, and it's not true for the 10% hardliners like Spalinger and Wages, but the other 80%?
