craigslist - 84 Volvo 242, 700 obo (Edmonds WA) There's a good chance that I might be flying in to the Seattle area to pick up a Toiletta rust-free rolling shell, so I'm starting to skim Craigslist for a tow vehicle to drag it back to Wisconsin. I ran across this, figured I'd post it. Dunno how great it would be to fab up a towbar and drag the corolla behind it, but if it's decently clean and just needs some brakes, it might just be the ticket. Well, after a few days of PM'ing, emailing, and a couple texts telling him I wanted the car and would pay him for it, turns out the guy already sold it.

What SHOULD have been a 16-hour drive ended up being a 22-hour nonstop drive, except for coffee/fuel breaks.

It was a fun adventure, and I got to meet some good people. There's even MORE people to finally meet in the Seattle and surrounding area, I'm really looking forward to it.

This is a great way to get a more or less rust free car out to where they're rare.
