Contrary to popular belief, I do, in fact, work 40+ hours a week.
Unlike many of my fellow American's I also do not spend any time on the internet while at work. Just a little clarity on that point. As to the rest to the rest of my post. Sometimes showing people the information and how to find it has more of an impact that telling them. I guess it might be a generational thing. The post wasn't meant to be a real mind opener. We live in the country of spin and all to convienent business relationships. I was just trying to shed some light in the BS hype thread on some BS that leads to hype for those that might not have been aware. It will always come down to a superficial personal disagreement between us though. To be honest, instead of telling people everything you did in your last post, all I wanted to do was show the relationships so people could make their own conclusions instead of being told what to think. Let people see the data and they will realize the truth... |

And when I said it won't open because I don't have the latest masturbatory shit for the latest "Flash" shit, and obviously have no intention of dealing with anyplace that has no "skip intro" you could have maybe sussed that your information, whatever the hell you were alluding to, was not opening. Cutting and pasting some of their drivel is not "Telling somebody what to think", it illustrates and fleshes out your opinion. It gives a much needed foundation so people see what one's OPINION is based on. And it hardly takes any effort if you're already "in" a site to cut and paste something juicy. I did not realize that you were meaning to say "What the fOOk is on the page because I don't have all the latest flash gizmos" when you said: Further, littlebuddy, I said it was some Flash bullshit and I ain't going to spend time fucking with Flash shit to see something you could have simply said Kevin, you vying for the Pete One line-No comment Morris-in-training award? > > Cutting and pasting some of their drivel is not > "Telling somebody what to think", it illustrates > and fleshes out your opinion. > It gives a much needed foundation so people see > what one's OPINION is based on. > > And it hardly takes any effort if you're already > "in" a site to cut and paste something juicy. > > > > > John Vanlandingham > Sleezattle, WA, USA > > Vive le Prole-le-ralliat > > www.jvab.f4.ca Part of the point for many flash based sites is to prevent the copying and pasting or easy extraction of content/code. Given that copying and pasting wasn't possible and that screen captures was far to much work for something that the majority either knew/expected to be true directions on how to get the information seemed appropriate. Next time I will spoon feed content for you if it involves flash. |

As a follow-up to this I offer this recent nugget from Rally-live.com:
"With the recent announcement by the FIA that Ricardo Trivino was excluded from Rally Mexico for wearing the wrong specification gloves, the final World Rally Championship driver point is now awarded to Junior World Rally Championship newcomer Sébastien Ogier. The Frenchman and his co-driver Julien Ingrassia made an awesome start to their debut J-WRC season by scoring their first victory of the series on the opening round of the Championship in their Citroën C2. By originally finishing ninth on the rally, Ogier matched the best-ever result for a J-WRC driver to date, but his promotion to eighth overall sees him enter the record books as he becomes the first ever J-WRC driver to do so; a feat even more amazing on his first-ever WRC rally." OK - There are two bad signs I see in this. First, DEAR GOD - YOU CAN BE EXCLUDED FOR WEARING THE WRONG GLOVES? This is not the sort of WRC I want to see. Just what exactly was the benefit to performance these illegal gloves provided anyway? Easier to wipe your backside in the woods? Faster response to a duel challenge? WHAT? Second, Why the spin? If a J-WRC competitor finished this high isn't it also true that there were not enough higher caliber entrants to prevent this from happening? Isn't this another form (although subtle) of the same bullshit hype we are talking about? It makes it sound as if the J-WRC is a raging success when what is really being illustrated is how weak the WRC actually is these days, Argue you with me if you will. I love having my mind educated. 2015 Subaru WRX Traded the Audi for the above Sold the 1993 Honda Civic EG w/B16A Conversion to the Raw Racing boys 6 bicycles because, you know, global warming and all |
Dave Shindle, as Leon would say "you are a dickhead"!! get your facts straight, I have been Leons Friend for more than 12 years He moved in with me for 3 months after he left his wife , long befor Lisa came into his life, the Governmant emminent domained his company as well as 1504 other businesses, so you are implying that the other 1504 businesses lost there property because of Lisa?? Also regarding selling the Escort, Leon is in the process of starting 3 new businesses and he knows sometimes you have to make sacrafices to make money, thats why he sold the escory, Dave Get your fact straight!!

Isn't it interesting how jealous people get when someone gets what they cannot get
I have know Lisa for 3 years now , yup she is a little strange at times, over excited I call it, she has an intense passion for rally and promotes herself well She gets approached by many sponsers, I asked ACT why they sponser her when she is relatively unknown and still learning to race and was told its because she self promotes and does have a huge fan base, Act also went on to tell me at Sema they had Tanner Foust and Lisa in their booth at the same time signing autographs and Lisa was signing more autographs then Tanner was Lisa has had 2 teams approach het to drive for them do they care if she is fast or not?? No , they care about marketability, after a recent drift event it was Lisas picture in the paper, not her faster team mates Sure at Pikes last year she wanted to beat Micheles time, I know Leon would like to beat that time as well , Lisa is enthusiastic and likes to set goals in her life I say good on her I want to race but suck at marketing so sit and watch Lisa drives for 3 teams how many do you drive for Grant?? how much do you spend to race, Lisa gets paid to race so good for her You go gal John watson |

I also suck at marketing, by choice, but at least I don't suck or make over the top claims regarding my ability and twist the truth to make myself more marketable. I've spent approximately 1/3 of my income over the last two-three years building my own car. Grant Hughes |
another thing that bothers me is they give Lisa shit for her national rally win at Rim, yup it was not on traditional stages but if my memory serves me correct last year or the one before either wild west or Oregan trails rally lost its roads and it ended up like Rim, basicly a rally sprint, are you saying the winner(can't remember who prob Pat R or Travis,s win does not count as a win??
The "rallysprint" Rim event was tough because one missed shift , of line once and you dropped 10 places, she beat Leon/George and a bunch of other drivers Is she up to Travis,s level?? no of course not, she never says she is, she just likes to let people know she is racing and that makes the sponsers very happy John W |

In all honesty here is what I have to say.
Leon and Lisa are both my good friends. I fail to understand how easily people pass judgement on people they have never met, never broke bread with. Leon is a hard working SOB. He is a smart entrepreneur, who knows when to bet, when to hold and he never counts his money before the deal is done (damn you Kenny Rogers). Sometimes it is a lot smarter to cut bait rather than continue to fish, sometimes Titan throws a foul ball at you and you cut the line and let the fish go. It's his business, he can run it or close it which ever way he pleases. His personal life ain't nobody's damn business either. He is a fast driver with a boat load of talent. Those he spanked with a lesser car may have a beef and talk shit about him but those who watched him drive can actually appreciate his talent. Lisa is the young talent of US Rallying. Her enthusiasm and drive is unfuckingbelievable. Se lives, breaths, eats, drikns and works her ass off for rallying. So what if she id drifting, how many people know that she is spending every penny she makes from drifting in her rally effort ? I applaud her dedication and commitment to rallying. If we had 20 more rallyists like her in the US we would perhaps have WRC Champions from our country instead of going oooooh-aaaaah at a bunch of Europeans. So what if she is unconventional, so what if she is a Punk Rocker, so what if she is a good looking chick in her early twenties ? She is fast, she has talent, she attracts crowds, youngsters ASSOCIATE with her. Over and above all she is a true amateur who is taking the right steps to become a professinal. I say TRUE AMATEUR taking the RIGHT STEPS, not like some asswipe who is buddies with this or that guy who has a motive or other and getting a free ride for a season to be the new big hit. Don't be jealous because she is sponsored, don't talk shit about her without knowing her, watch what she is doing and try to learn from her the art of getting sponsors. That's all I have to say about it. Cheers M.Samli Phoenix AZ Gaylant VR4 EVO III GSR (Stolen) Rallies are no place for traitors |

Mustafa, well said! They've been helping the rally community for a long time. Tombstone anyone?! You could do shakedowns or just get seat time at a day's notice for free! Don't forget all the rallycrosses and rallysprints Leon put on.

Julius you bought up a great point, Leon has put more into ralling than most peolpe in this country, he opened up his Paintball park to rallycrosses(over 60 drivers would enter) pay out of his own pocket for lights watertruck, grader etc and not take a penny for its use, he built a 1 mile rallyspring course and it was free to use for anyone needed seat time and many events were scheduled their
After the Goverment emminent domained his company it really affected rally in california leon and Lisa are responsable for MANY new competators in the rally scene today well done guys John I forgot he also sponsered events offering cash prizes ![]() Lon Petterson for some time how many other people have put that much into rally??
