Vince is a mechnic and a Volvo perv and has done fingured it out that thrashing around on gravel roads is way more fun the drag racing, and since Vince is my close cousin, he's no limp wristed poof so it goes without saying that he's not into doging cones and bragging that he's a "racer".

Anders, and Mark Bowers and Matt Smith, you guys in Virgina/Norte Carolina, why don't you see if you guys can hook up and see if you can drag him along to some events so he can see some of the fun, who knows maybe he'll help out making sammiches since he is a mechanic!

Grassroots rally. It's what I think about.

Vince, some things in VA area to check out:

1) www.dcrally.com--they run rallycrosses at Summit Point just over the west VA line. There is also a Bolivian rallysprint series that takes place at Sumit Point at the same time as the rallycrosses so you can come see some real rally cars and talk to folks.

2) talk to Mark Bowers...

3) You can go check out my car---sitting at Delta-V Motorsports in Richmond VA. Jeff Smith who runs Delta-V was once an SCCA Rally Scrutineer...

We understand, honest. If I were John's cousin, I'd lay low too.......

Weeeeell! Now that the secret is out, when ARE you going to start mixing it in here? Lessee, there is the DC region raly-x series at Summit Point and the Tar Heel SCC rally-x's areund Raleigh, and the Tri-State Rally Club rally-x's in WV and the Pittsburgh area. And, OF COURSE, you are now required to come and join us at Rally WV on Aug 1-2 for 2 days of hard core stage rallying.

Once you've visited Josh's car, since you'll be nearby, you have to stop in on Afton Mt. and see our junk/projects. If you close enough, I'll get you involved in the latest Opel build here. (Stalled again! Drats!)

So where is Mangohick near to??

Mangohick is on the map, it was founded when a indian came upon a man on the side of a footpath near my house.. the indian took him back to his medicine man and simply told him "man-go-HICK!" and that's where they got the name.. from an old drunk guy on the side of the road.

So you guys can help get me in the woods eh? I'll keep ya'll posted on when I'm back in service again as I've got some pretty critical medical problems goin on right now.

Im close to VA also...about 40 miles north of Knoxville, TN. I travel to all the rallys in the southeast. Perhaps we could hook up sometime.
