Come on guys! What's wityh all this Rally America Bashing?
I found the results.
Grant finished a credible 6th OA and won Gp5 all thanks to the Soooper Bitchin suspension and brakes he got from that all round swell and patient guy
John Vanlandamnyoursoulsonofabitch!

And as for finding the results come on give Rally America a break! We all know they have a lot on their plate what with dealing with all the Rally Superstars and meeting with all the Series Sponsors and in any case dispite the fact they have been informed of the annoyance repeatedly, it's only been what? 4 or 5 years since it's been a problem finding the Regional results.

Like mellow the fuck out, doooooooods.

We did good, finished both days with pretty much no issues other than a diff quickly dying due to no gear oil and me not caring enough to put more in until the second to last service, at which point, we put in a full quart. Oh, we lost a fan once. Mark and I shared my cell phone all weekend and posted like 100+ updates direct to the No Coast Motorsports website. Even went a little overboard at the awards party. To give you an idea, I had six beers before I got there and they had an open bar with kegs. I had at least four more before I got my 20 oz Colorado Rally Cup beer mug which I refilled at least five more times, plus made the MC, Chad James, give me a shot of Jameson when I came up to accept my award, at which time I drunkenly thanked either myself or Travis for getting so many cute girls to this event. There were alot, even at FTC and registration. Everyone else went home and Mark, Ron Nelson, Scott and I went and met up with Matthew Johnson at the Holiday Inn bar. I remember sitting next to John Buffum at the bar as I ordered a whiskey ginger ale. That's about all I recall. I passed out on the hotel lobby couch and Mark drew a large penis on my cheek and the crew had fun taking silly photos of me. We also fought a bit when we got back to our hotel. Mark sent lots of updates to the site all night too.
Photo gallery is uploading now and will be linked on the nocoast site. Video will take a few more days since I have to find someone elses computer to use. Had some really on the limit moments, but spent most of the time feeling like a bit of a granny. But I was mostly out to gain a little confidence and finish. I really needed the $200 I got for finishing both days! I'm totally broke and two weeks until I get paid again.

Results:
http://www.rally-america.com/PHPScripts/stagescore.php?y=2008&e=COLORADO&stage=1

I took a ten minute penalty on day one by missing Parc Expose due to my dumb ass drilling a hole in the spare tire well trying to drain water and accidently punching through the gas tank.

1)nice work finishing after drilling a hole in the gas tank. seriously, that sounds like something I'd do.

2) I love whiskey + ginger

1) Obviously not at STPR.
2) I feel hung over just looking at the after rally pics.
3) It's really really good to see an XR on the stages.

Congrats on the G5 win.
Thanks for posting the pics and the link to scores.

I drilled thru the top of a gas tank on someone else's rally car one night, too. Felt like an idiot. Used a penny and some epoxy and all was better.

Just wait until you see the in car. You'll understand. When I see photographers I tend to push harder though in the hopes of not looking to lame also.
I ran the whole event at only 10 psi also.
