Brian is referring to the wheel called 'Sirius' by Volvo. It is a 15" thing with I forget how many spokes that has enough room inside for my nice big brakes that are part of the Sellholm front suspension and brakes package I purchased.
Sellholm's kit of front suspension and brakes bolts in and has required none, zero, zip, nadda babysitting and has left exactly zero wheels out in the woods. Congrats on your purchase. Enjoy it. Toss the old tires as they will be junk by now. JohnLane Overkill is consistently more fun |

Thanks, John. It warms the heart to hear from all a' you brickslingers.
The Sellholm bits - are you talking about "Selltech Mc Phearson 50 mm fjäderben komplett med komp och returjustering," or something else? (is that the price per side, or for a pair?) |

Um...
Well, I *could* take new pictures, but they'd look a lot like the pictures that are already there. It's been a year of too much work, not enough play, and at least a little "oh shit, I have no skills, no equipment...what have I gotten myself into"-style buyer's remorse, if I'm honest. I've gotten better. Still have to do everything I needed to do when I bought it. To wit: seat bracket that will actually get my close enough to controls in order to drive, new belts, maybe new seats (? do these expire?), install of sooper bitchin rear shocks, turrets, 4link, and critically--get a handle on what it will take to bring the cage up to spec. I'm going to haul the heap down to Lawrence (aka Fidel from Turbobricks) at Knox Motorsports for most of the work. Hopefully I'll be ready to go in some form for a few ice races this winter, some "rallycross" with SCCA, and eventually some stages by the latter half of next year (once I've gotten a little seat time and steel my nerve). I see what you're doing, Ozgur...shame is a powerful weapon ;-) |

We do look at condition and mounting. So if a seat does appear to worn out it can be rejected at tech. |

Yeeeeahhhhh...not so much, Oz. But if you're nice, I'll let you touch it.
Looking forward to my bundle of mechanical joy, John. Thank you. Will do my best to get the youngins hooked, proper-like. Oh, and spray Ozgur cute little krautbox mightily and frequently. Glad to hear that about seats, Gene. 'Preciate the heads up. |

Sean, You might not have to rip out that cage. Does the car have an SCCA logbook? If it does, I suspect you could just add updates as needed and leave the 1.5" x.120" main hoop in it.
You will go right by my house on your way to Fidel/Knox's place so you should give a shout seeing as we are so close... ____________________________________________________________- One.
