non-rallycross related, however, sounds like myself after many many rallies I've been a volunteer/worker for, even coming prepared for any type of weather and still wasn't able to keep dry and being stuck out in the cold and wet from morning till night

Jens, no rant from me!!

I also do not claim to be enlightened. I've credited you with as much though.

'Drug Dealer Sponsorship.' Haven't you beat that drum enough Jens?

The biggest jumps in rally happen in Finland. The winners are those who screw up! Like Galli, Atkinsson, Gardemeister, and older ones like all time winner Kynsilehto. And countless first timers who misjudge the jumps. Local spectators stay low when car's coming and then when he/she takes off they stand up and cheer smiling smiley BTW - those markers (Galli photo) are meters, like at ski jump hill.
You'll never see Loeb or Grönholm topping this "contest". The fastest way is to stay low... and get those wheels down fast to gain traction and speed.
One car, AUDI GrB Shorty, was developed for WRC Finland (1000 Lakes Rally in good old days) with a special aero package to keep it from flying and to bring it down fast. See some old videos of Hannu Mikkola and you'll see the difference.

Nah; I'm just getting warmed up!

I might be alone in my crusade against this "energy drink"
crap, but I'll betcha in years or decades down the road
there will be many dying as a result of drinking this garbage.

If it is later scientifically proven harmful (as has been cigarettes),
Subaru and their teams (drivers/co-drivers that carry this poison advertising
now should be held legally responsible

Time will tell.

I will beat the anti-"energy drink" drum until my death.

was a little bit of column A and a little bit of column B. I had the jacket/hat/gloves but it wasn't a 100% water-proof and more water repelant winter jacket.

We also ended up following home my second driver's friend who sheared off a front caliper bolt so any form of braking resulted in the caliper flipping out, catching his wheel and locking the front wheel. Not fun in any way.

Like everyone else I watched the video when it was first posted. I thought it was boring. I didn't look at the thread after that. I just read through all your posts and I wanted to make two comments. The remark about the video being a good promotional tool for Ken's sponsors put it in perspective for me. I was going to leave it at that, but then I read Jack Russel's comment "jeez....that video almost makes me want to bail on rally and just build a drift car...." That is ten times more ignorant than the video!!! Do us all a favor and go drifting!

You, and some others CHOOSE to read into the words the hate and shit that is INSIDE YOURSELVES, John.

YOU transform "Meh, I ain't impressed" into some sort of attack.
Well Joihn maybe you like watch adult men maturbating in highly orchrestrated displays of play acting, , but I don't.
Maybe you like watching guys masturbate in front of a bunch of cameras, but I just don't swing that way, John.

Again, you read "Meh, I'm not impressed" as some sort of attack.
Great job there John, real good reading.
You can continue to cluck cluck that it is an attack, and clain I am an ass, but you making '"Meh, I ain't impressed" into some production SHOWS WHERE THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM IS.

2 boards John, why purposely try and couch it in language which makes it sound as if its some huge thing, whymake it out to sound so bad?

You proud you keep your opinions to yourself enough to not ruffle the immature nerds that run boards?

I cannot be responsible for people like moderators, nearly invariably not just computer guys but uber-geek-oids inability to read and understand a range of emotions or human reactions, because they live in another world of fantasy and role play and they get to wield power on forums while they are pitiful useless whining wimps in real life.
You know that John, and your acting all proper is also an e-persona, and sorry John but hyper-propiety, hyper-prissiness ain't one I find entertaining.
I know you better.

that was as far as I got. Yes, as a matter of fact I do enjoy watching adult men masturbating. In fact, any/all of you, feel free to record yourselves doing so and send me clips. Thanks.

Pay attention to "Climb Dance". The sound is obviously "foleyed" and does not match the video, and there are a lot more video cuts than it may seem at first take.

But it does look badass the first time, until you actually start paying attention to the gauges, and realize little things like you are not going to hear a piece of paper from 30 yards out, over the sound of a screaming Peugeot engine and four spinning tires.

Hell no. It's cold up there! We were in Columbus where it was a balmy 45 degrees and raining.

I love this forum and all you guys and gals. I've been here a year and learned a tremendous amount about the feild of rally, but I'm have a tough time navagating through the minefeilds of bullshit on Rally Anarchy.

JVL I appreciate and enjoy getting advice and knowledge from you which is VAST and DEEP but it just sucks that sometimes it has to come with the price tag of listening to you rant about how peoples minds are all fucked up and how everyone is a mindless idiot, shit is fucked, and yada yada yada. Nobody else cares dude.

Those days you talk about are over. May I remind you that in this archdiocese, God don't run the BINGO. The TV does. The train left the station a long time ago. Welcome to the idiocracy of the United States of Whatever. It's the way it is. Move on.

Oh yeah, didn't realize this was posted yesterday so it could have been your Ohio region RX.

I was thinking of going to that, but after I dealt with the 30 degree and rain (the only weather I hate) and slush, I didn't want to go through that all over again.

eh, I don't mind his rants, if I find them entertaining, I read them, if I don't, I pick out what I want to see and then move on, I say let him bellow, arguing and posting what's on our minds is a good thing I think, sometimes it's refreshing not to agree, or to agree but via different avenues, or whatever

unlike the rest of you though, if I'm bitchy I can always blame it on being female, tee hee
