Pre-Xmas beer night?

I think it was something about drinking beer before Christmas at some bar that has a name that sounds a little bit like a gay bar, but is more likely a sports bar.

I dunno, but my wife's friend in Aroma says she can't stand the slow-ass Washington drivers (she's an Army wife and her husband is stationed out there). I didn't notice the one time I drove out there, but I was sick for part of the trip and was also in some lame Taurus rental car.

Did anybody drink beer? My power just came back on after nearly nine days out from an ice storm, so I'm having a celebratory Labatt's or three (mind you, thanks to generators, batteries and laptops, I've been able to get online almost all week anyway).
