That's it! Now that Subaru is gone, I quit.

I wonder if this will have any impact on Subaru being involved with NA rally?

I doubt it. In the US SRTUSA has 2 pay to play drivers and Canada is only running 1 car by a driver who will consistantly win championships for them.

Plus I'm still making a go of it! smiling smiley

I heard these news way late. I wish FIA would take this opportunity to go back to 2WD rallying. Think about it - Subaru (and Mitsubishi in the past) was the only manufacturer that really had anything in their showrooms with AWD that was suitable for rally. And I suppose some may say their latest WRX models weren't so suitable anymore because I understand they haven't won in a while (I haven't been following it since they pulled it from US TV).

They would get a lot better turnout if they made the championship more closely match what the majority of manufacturers sells out there: 2WD normally aspirated. There could be more cross-development with touring cars, etc. Hell, even allow turbos and large displacement 4 cylinder engines - it would still be more similar to what they actually sell than sticking an AWD drive train in their subcompact grocery getter.
