I havn't seen Chuck in a while, I think he lives in Nevada these days. Has some offroad tour company last I heard. I also have not see Ron since he left KTM Gresham. Last I saw him he was riding a practice at Albany SX park and just killing it.

No, the rules said no new drivers in open class cars. It really seemed like a long shot at the time. I do know that now a days they let guys get away with waivers. When they first came up with that rule I don't think that was the case as much. I should have gotten it log booked though.

yeah i have the same problem you did. have an open class GTX and not enough points to run it in RA events. for now the plan is to run it in NASA and maybe later down the road like this summer i will build up an NA engine and run it in open light which i think would be a better fit for the car anyway. Its a bummer to miss a couple of rally in the short run, but i probably couldn't afford to do every rally this season anyway.

As you are just outside of Portland, are you coming to the "rally day" thing next weekend? look for a black GTX and say whats up. My GTX cage could use some updates too, feel like making a few bucks with the MIG welder?

oh, and don't feel bad, since the inception of the OL class, they no longer give waivers for open, so....time to build a really expensive pissed off NA B6....so i can make as much hp as i would with a factory turbo anyway...haha rally always has was of sucking more and more money out of you...

Ya gotta get down to rally day, hope there are a bunch of cars. Does your GTX have the dash bar over the dash? I remember a black one like that. Do you want any rear interior panels or a rear seat for free? I also have some ac parts if you needed them for anything. Also have three O.Z. 15in wheels from a lancer that would work for ya. As far as your cage I would love to help you out, I'm not an excpert but I may be able to help. See you at rally day, OBrian.

no dash bar in my GTX. It was formerly owned by the Manspeaker campaign. Thanks for the offer on the parts, but I don't really need them. though, i know i a few other GTX guys who might be interested if you are just looking to unload. I am into the wheels though, i could use a few more sets of wheels and/or tires.

yeah, i just have some little things want to get done on the car and i dont have a welder, so at this point it would just be easier for me to pay someone like you to do it...if you are interested, nothing too dramatic at all. my MIG welds look like poo anyway...haha. see you at rally day.
