are you fucking kidding me. Everyone keeps telling me "run doo wops, brooklyn rocks!" And now the stage is scrapped.

sonuva bitch.

I'm doing NASCAR.

hahahahha

seriously though, that blows. Is Brooklyn a much traveled road? Will it be rebuilt/rerouted? Or is it gone forever?

Gene,

Hmmmm. That's a County Road isn't it? They do need to keep access open ASAP (I think). I'll bet the County can tell you the plan before the week is over.

Maybe the Guard or Corp of Engr's will help them out with a temporary portable bridge. Then you just need to put a short "slow zone" in the route book (and Radar on the roadside.)

Don't give up the ship just yet!

Houston we have a problem!!

Gene I don't see the Volvo and contents attempting that one.

I will hope for the best.

This was quite the 'weather event' we just made it through.

I hope that Ray and Janice are OK.

There is another section that is washed 1/2 out, no big deal for our guys. Janice and animals are fine. Ray has been in sunny Mexico and is currently in transit back to here. I imagine he'll take one look and head back south.

I went to hi school with the head of the county road dept. so hopefully I can get some info Monday. They may be kinda busy though.

Gene I'll sprinkle some tea leaves and think good thoughts for it.

I'm glad that it isn't worse.

I think that may slow the stage down more then a chicane.

In the long run reality always wins.

Likely won't be any aero shenanigans on Brooklyn this year. There was a second partial washout that is now a complete washout. Likely to cost close to a million $,$$$,$$$,$$$.00 to repair the damage. Since the ground is still unstable and winter far from over we won't be running Brooklyn this year. We have considered using the first 4 miles as a turn around, but we don't know just yet.

Gene this is something for us to cry about.

Fifty cents in a bet says that this is not going to help sales at the Brooklyn Tavern a bit either.

I will hope for the best..... Including hoping that them Buress Brothers get their car together in time and with enough budget left over to race!!

I sure hope to have the funds to beat them on the stages! (enter the race!)
