That was my point Cosworth. My open class Subaru is a very slippery slope. I have to think carefully where I spend money or I end up (like the last couple years) not entering events.
First you say "I don't see any top teams using ferodo", then when pointed out that the best in US/Canadian RALLY are using them, you come back with:

"dont start with the usual "what have you won" comments or comparing what other drivers or teams use"

And why couldn't you make your first post about working in the industry and haven seen test results?

And I'm not "relying on shopping online" It's saved me countless hours in which to spend with my 2 babies, work more at my job (which is the best sponsorship I've got) and work on the car. If I had time to talk on the phone ( I work all 12 hour nights) I'd call Mr Vanlandingham about my helper springs!

If other pads are better VALUE then I'm all for it. But they have to be accessable.

Oh I owe myself 10 bucks. I found a Pagid AND PFC retailer in Canada.

If PFC 01's are better than ferodo ds3000's than the cost of them is about equal.

Sorry about not clearing the fact that I work with brakes, and deal with it at the pro level, but I also dont want to sound like I'm bragging. I just want to help you get the best bang for the buck.

Actually the PFC 01 pads might be too aggressive, its better suited for high grip high down force. If you go that route then you might want to use 01’s in the front and 97’s in the rear on the stock brake proportioning with stock MC's and piston areas. If you have a pedal box with brake balance bar, then you can setup the geometry to change the timing of when the F and R systems engage and then use 01’s all around. But still the 01’s are the most aggressive and powerful brake compound in the market. Its used in all kinds of open wheel racing and GT racing so it might “over brake” but at least they will last quite a long time.

Raceshopper has them for the Gr N for $219 front and $168 rears.

Did you end up getting the pads? Which ones did you get? I found out that Prodrive also uses PFC brake pads on AP calipers and disks.
