I don't really understant that rule, or other rules that simply appear to be about forcing more money to be spent, or a totally different car (often more $$ spent). What's actually achieved making you spend the extra money?
Do the fans give a shit? Does the dirt? Seems like the only thing that notices the difference is your wallet.
Who wins if you give up on the project? Or if you enter one of the more common cars, or something that has more cheap HP engine options because they happen to have the right name on the valve cover?
Why is an engine swap magically kosher because it was made from the same manufacturer?
