Is that about how a gravel spec car would behave on tarmac without sway bars installed?

Do you know what it has for a drivetrain? The shifts are pretty lightning and the engine sounds like a BDA or something. Is it volvo powered? b23? Quad throttles?

That guy is taking no prisoners.

In the last tarmac section I thought I heard a blow off valve. I would guess Volvo power but I will defer to JVL on that.

On the gravel it is hard to tell but on the asphalt I think he has a dog drive box. No syncro would hold up to those shifts.

He has a good gravel suspension under the car. So yes that is how it will behave without anti roll bars.

Thanks for posting such a nice video. I like to see people actually drive on the limit of the car, not themselves.

When I was in Irelad last fall, I got to drive a Ford Escort MKII. As you can imagine, I was all over the place in that thing, learning just how different RWD is from AWD when you're turning-in and actually IN the corner. Much harder.

It should be borne in mind that my comments to and about little Timmy being a troll impossible to take seriously is not merely from his wanky photos of guys fucking off on a stupid trick bike but rather in light of that post AND his comments of "meh" here regarding what is obviously very good, exciting driving of a car which were to ride along in he would likely foul his britches.

That is bloody hilarious that they don't even move the cars and buses out of the parking lots before they race through them.

Perfect example of why close ratio steering is required! Without it they'd be behind on the steering and therefore unable to drive at that level ...

Got to love the navigators pen, in-car asphalt, on the dash moving back and forth like a G meter ...
