So this video is fucking bad ass for sure. That car looks like it would be a blast!
Is that about how a gravel spec car would behave on tarmac without sway bars installed? Do you know what it has for a drivetrain? The shifts are pretty lightning and the engine sounds like a BDA or something. Is it volvo powered? b23? Quad throttles? Excuse me, you guys check out the Twabbie Piss-trauma on the swinger bike...I'm gonna go watch this again. Michael LeCompte Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 04/22/2009 10:25AM by pikespeakgtx. |

That guy is taking no prisoners.
In the last tarmac section I thought I heard a blow off valve. I would guess Volvo power but I will defer to JVL on that. On the gravel it is hard to tell but on the asphalt I think he has a dog drive box. No syncro would hold up to those shifts. He has a good gravel suspension under the car. So yes that is how it will behave without anti roll bars. Thanks for posting such a nice video. I like to see people actually drive on the limit of the car, not themselves. Robert. Robert. When I was in Irelad last fall, I got to drive a Ford Escort MKII. As you can imagine, I was all over the place in that thing, learning just how different RWD is from AWD when you're turning-in and actually IN the corner. Much harder. impressive driving. Holy out of spite rage batman.
For the record, the incar was pretty sweet, but I didnt like the majority of the first video. Oh noez 1111 Stop trying to analyze me John, you're making yourself look like an obnoxious prick. However... maybe you like that? (<---- first troll thing I've said.... although... its not an entirely rhetorical question.) I hope you realize its people like you that spawn all of the pictures depicting people fighting on the internet as incoherent losers with WAY too much time on their hands. And its very sad that you manage your time so poorly that your constantly slandering me, when you could be increasing your turn around time for your paying customers.... something I KNOW you could work on. Welcome to the cult of JVL drink the koolaid or be banned. |

And while i may look like an obnoxiuos prick, I return what is given. You don't understand that your words are full of implicit snottyness. You reap what you sew. > > However... maybe you like that? You know Timmy, I could have delivered your shocks last week and it would have made no difference to where you are on the preparation of your car. Something you could work on. Perfect example of why close ratio steering is required! Without it they'd be behind on the steering and therefore unable to drive at that level ...
Got to love the navigators pen, in-car asphalt, on the dash moving back and forth like a G meter ... As always IMHO SEAN TENNIS KF7JJR SEATTLE, WASHINGTON SAAB 99, SAAB 850 SAAB V4, SAAB 99T |
