And now he's doing donuts.

Isn't this crap more appropriate someplace that gives a shit?

Again, I say Timmy is trying to be a troll.

Pretty silly, Timmy.

I wonder why the team managers allow this. It would be so stupid to have one of them get hurt like that!

Well it would be stupid if anybody gave a shit.
Of course those involved in this stuff are just playing around at the whole shebang, the cars, the driving, the posing for photos, all just Boys With Toys.

It's all done to impress what they call "The target demographic" 12-21 year old white boys in the burbs.

Meh.

Funny, just looks like a bunch of guys having fun while sitting out a regrouping control.

As for these guys just 'playing around'... That's not exactly a revelation as the chances of actually making a serious living off 'the whole shebang,' particularly as a competitor, are just about nil.

So, why so cranky about a few pix of guys having fun at a rally?

It would be stupid if they hurt themselves jumping rally cars 100-odd feet, jumping out of airplanes without a parachute or base-jumping into the Grand Canyon. It would be stupid if they hurt themselves while walking into the woods to find a private place to relieve themselves. It would be stupid if someone in service got hurt by a potato gun.

We are all adults and responsible for our actions.

Keith we all know YOU come here primarily to try and start arguments, that is clear to all.

Now, if I'm not mistaken, you're old and fat and bald but you certainly try and act like 20 somethings so just possibly I can imagine that you actually are impressed by some guys fucking with some stupid wacky bicycle.

But.............

Most here are not brainless punks, most are adults either just managing to run cars or building cars and concerned primarily with affordability of cars parts, and events and the things and ideas that would make running rallys affordable.

Now I don't regard you as an honest or trustworthy person due to slimy backhanded comments regarding me you have made on Special Stage during the time I was banned there, and a person who talks shit about somebody not to there face as you did, and where they know a person cannot reply is usually, in the world where I have been, regarded as a piece of shit.
As such, even talking to you is not without some distaste on my part.
I do not believe things you say and believe you say things primarily out of animus, but
DO YOU REALLY EXPECT US TO BELIEVE YOU GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THE ANTICS OF THESE GUYS?

Timmy knows there is another site which is increasingly devoted primarily to "adulation" of the antics of, or the paint schemes of or the color of the firesuits of the few so-called "Top" drivers. You know that as well.

So why argue about the pointlessness of nonsense like this here?

Or is it just that you are feigning "interest" so that you can argue about something.

And really, are you equally "interested" in if some middle of the pack guy brings say some teddy-bear or some other toy or plaything to a rally?

I don't think so.

What is the name of the red headed guy in the white sun glasses? I explained to him why his brake rotor exploded at 110mph. He was down to earth.

matt Johnson.

Simmer John. It was a very good spirited weekend and that shows in these pics. Sure from the aspect of the budget rallyist it was disappointing to see the lack of entries, regional entries, total overabundance of Subarus, and complete lack of RWD but it is motivating as well. There were 1000+ people on Brooklyn sunday. When was the last time that happened? 88?

Things need to change in rally. I see that, John sees that, most of us here see that. That doesn't mean I won't support what is here. I learned lots this weekend just helping out in service, crawling around cars, talking to service crews. I still have a hell of a lot to learn and I am not going to throw out an opportunity to do so cause im mad at the man.

Sure the boy fans are a pain in the ass. I caught alot of shit this weekend for talking shit aobut TP but come on no self respecting man should be carrying a sign asking to bear Patrana's child. That same guy however was pounding down the beers at the Brooklyn tavern later on, with all of his boy fan friends, and to see all that money pouring into the local area was great. Especially in an area that could really use the money. Are we going to be able to do that with our 20 and 30 year old 240, AE86 and 96s. I don't think so.

Rally antics are everywhere from top to bottom. Especially during downtime and John if that bothers you you have either been away from the good time side of rallying for too long or you are getting irritable in your old age. Barrett and The Fling Pu crews have (or had) the Rally wheelcahirs, my dirty drifters crew has the infamous Tikki bar and this weekend Brian and Josh in the Red Rocket Rally FX-16 couldn't afford real trophy girls so we had a mannequin there readying the jack.

The mood you are portraying here John suggests that you will be taking up autocross in the near future.

Travis beat the 80 mph average on Smith Creek. I respect that.

Most rally people do silly stuff when they are stuck waiting. If a service crew had that swing bike in the service area, I am sure that it could have gone down in service area lore like the wheelchair and potato guns.

Seriously John, get a grip.

If it had been pictures of Grant pulling scooter shenanigans or both Burress brothers riding a tandem motorized-cooler-train off a launch ramp you wouldn't have the same reaction.

New goal, build a tandem motorized-cooler-train before Oregon Trails.
