Yeah, I don't see how carpooling is hypocritical and clearly the guy was willing to walk and as stated right above me you had an empty seat. Now, if you'd had an extra miata you were towing behind you and he asked to drive rather than take your empty seat, that would be hypocritical.
Thing is, is if everyone was driving around rally cars like rally cars all the time, then yes there would probably be a large impact. The point is is to be be reasonable and balanced. I'm sure that our earth can handle a fair amount of shit in it's air and soil and water. However too much of anything is rarely a good thing and I do think we should all be making some effort to not fuck it all up. |

To make the point that there is a difference of opinion on who created it, as you said clearly: Earth Day was created by Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson, not Ira Einhorn." Yet there is a dispute of those involved as to whom created it, best guess it was a collective concept. As for Stephen Colbert ... Might as well have quoted Jon Stewart ... Ugh. I know wikipedia is not the source for accuracy on many things, however as we see it does bring up discussion, what source would you prefer to use? > > > As we see there is a dispute over this ... > > > > > > > This stuff is crap and we know it > deep inside > > > > ourselves, we know it because we > get out in the > > > > woods and we see the truth, we see > it with our own > > > > eyes even though someone is trying > to tell us we > > > > don't. Yet we are seeing sign's of cooling trends, as temperature have not been increasing for several years now and appear to be on heading for a cooling trend. "Climate change" is not correct, you yourself agreed it has always changed, "climate change" is the normal for Earth. It is yet to be proven that any change is abnormal let alone man caused, it is merely theory run amuck. Alan, good discussion, you can have the last comment on this ... you going to be in Oregon?
