If you have room for a drill press you most likely have room for a small knee mill (well smaller than this one). You can get an older step pulley knee mill for just about nothing these days. An angle vice and the hole saw arbors I listed above get you this setup.
You can effortlessly cut offset joints and compound intersections that the other notchers can't do at all. As a huge bonus it's a still a normal mill when you take the angle vice off...it's not going to depreciate any more than it already has in this economy so you can recoup your investment at any time.
