John attacked me here before I was ever here:
http://www.rallyanarchy.com/phorum/read.php?1,311 Thats why I'm here. And still lies about me, that I killed DC rallyX when its still alive and that I'm a service manager when I've never held a position w/ that title. He makes the shit up, has a delusional memory about his results and belittles people he'll never meet to bolster his inflated ego. Stagenotes threads keep me around. There was no discourse when I ceased being the organizer for DC RallyX. I stopped because I was competing in 15+ rallies a season and had no time for it anymore and had already gotten it established. We met at Bombara's home and I handed over what I had and coached the new group. Reason people bitched was because now they had to do the work and when they weren't holding safe events, I had the SCCA steward come for an event. That group didn't last long. New guy is doing terrific job. Twist what you want in your delusional thought but posting hearsay as libelous lies is against the rules you keep thinking you somehow follow. When is the last time you volunteered at a rally? Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/19/2009 08:52PM by CommanderSalamander. |

What is this, a goddamn sewing circle?
What a bunch of whiny bitches. Seriously, ladies, this shit is OLD NEWS, and you insist on repeatedly airing PERSONAL grievances in a PUBLIC forum. SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! I don't want to smell your gaddamn fucking dirty underwear!!! I don't know about anyone else, but if this crap continues, I will sell or scrap my car, and leave the rally community altogether. Maybe you don't care if I do. But understand that you will have driven away at least one potential competitor because you couldn't be enough of an adult to keep the personal shit personal. In reading some of these threads, a few phrases come to mind :
"Tit for Tat" "Every action has a reaction" It's kind of pathetic, how issues are masked / veiled with non sense. Jon, Thank you for deleting the picture with the caption which made a lark of all the children with physical, cognitive, FAS, various syndromes, etc. These boys and gilrs work harder than most people realize to overcome their challenges. I used to teach Kubudo (Okinawan weapons), and a variety of martial art diciplines. During these years I worked with 2 organizations that worked with these young individuals. In particular focusing on strength training, controlled flexibility, and so fourth. While it takes great effort to "do the splits", many of these young individuals have worked very hard to get this type of agility and flexibility. I am don't have a rally car, and only watch the WRC on TV. I really have no interest in building a car and racing it. Spectatorship that's me. It is interesting to follow these threads because 15 years ago or so I taught Kubudo to a young guy who shares the name of the person in the sin bin. He wasn't particular proficient with anything other than the bow (staff). We all have gifts in life and what stood out with him was his well developed mid and upper back. I taught the arts for 25 years and saw few guys work a 90lb. heavy bag the way he did. I always hoped that the time we spent meditating in the dojo, helped him on a route in life with fulfillment. If anyone know this guys email address, can you send it to me in a PM ? John, You're a piece of work ! Strong ideals, seemingly enjoying the filth that you chuck around about people. I've been doing a little digging since one of your last post. You mentioned that Morten lied about the engine costing $2800 There is a thread on ss.com called "Paging JVL" On June 23, 2005 you wrote : $602 parts and pistons $240 welding / head repairs $385 Rest of head work $128 other maching work $500 assembly $1855 Total You mentioned 14 hours labour for install, timing, etc. Further in the thread is mention of 1 hour to push dead car off a trailer for $60. This suggests that your hourly rate is $60 and hour 14 hour @ $60 = $840 $1855 $840 $60 pushing dead car $2755 total USD Morten mention $2800 and you called him a liar. Why has this gone on for so long ? At one point on ss.com you wanted Morten to email you / post pics of the tags of the missing belts which he did. The pics are still on ss.com, you gave a written statement that you'd replace the belts. You haven't replaced anything, haven't compensated for the circlip coming off his piston, etc... Yes you had wait to get paid, after it took you what ? 4 months to rebuild an engine and install in. I'd say - he waited / you waited = they cancel each other out You got paid in full / he didn't get what he paid for This "suggests" that YOU owe. You know John, you bitched and moaned that Morrison was posting about you on SS.com after you got banned because you couldn't reply. Now YOU"RE doing the very thing to Morten here that YOU accused Morrison of doing there. How do you expect to have any credibility ? Skye, I read that you would delete the forum if you wanted to. This is nothing more than mere posturing. If you did that, where would John go ? Where would he peddle his stuff ? I can only wonder if you never would have started the sin bin, if Johns and Mortens dispute would have gotton solved or forgotten. The sin bin surely kept the wound open, caused parties to lament, and so fourth. You have threated to kick ass, bust heads and otherwise present a strong opinionated online persona. This lead me to google you to determine for myself if you're the hard ass in real life that you come across as on here. Here's what I found : You graduated from High School in Princeton BC You have red hair You used to DJ / spin records Your F4 servers are at Accretive Technology Group in Seattle You lived on Armour Street in Seattle You now live in the 1000 block of Nelson Street in Vancouver Your phone number is 604.637.0*** This took less than 5 minutes on Google. From what I see, you don't seem like a tough guy - more of a keyboard jockey who found strength in messing with people online. You stepped into the middle of a business dispute, took sides, and ridiculed the other party by hanging him out to dry for everyone in his sport to see. For over 3 years. Do you think for a second that anyone would take this lying down ? If it was me, I'd go to your door and knock on it. Then sit outside and wait for you to come outside so that we can have a discussion where I'd give you the opportunity to first kick my ass and secondly bust my head. Morten if you're reading this google Skye. He seems to have 2 last names - Nott and Poier. Give him a call, go for a Mountain Dew or a coffee and put this crap to rest. Or Skye, get Morten's number from John and give him a call and everyone can try to put this behind them before it gets out of hand and someone gets hurt in real life. John, bury the hatchet and let it go. Everyone know's that you lie, contradict your own statements, and are generally filled with shit. What has this dispute been about ??? Belts - prorated $200 - $300 Engine leak - $500 $800 MAX. What has happened ? Treats to kick ass, bust heads, lost future business, suggestions of IRS, King County zoning violations, etc etc etc... Is all this worth it for $800 ? |

-------------- Blah blah. Thomas, despite you calling me a liar I'll point out a couple of things. First it is not the same thing that "he had to wait, you had to wait..." You do understand that repairing and rebuilding an engine takes time and that some operations are farmed out don't you? You do understand that business don't always drop projects they are in the middle of to do things that arrive later, surely you understand that. Then you know some things take time. When a customer says "Go ahead and do it" and I spend MY MONEY over the measly 400 or 600 dollar deposit, when a job is done, it needs to be paid. Small operations always have cash flow issues. The machine shop only releases parts when they are paid for, suppliers only ship when parts are paid for. I can't assemble something till I have the parts and I need to be paid for those parts to pay the mortgage and to order parts for the NEXT project. Leaving me hanging for over 2 months, repeatedly saying in emails "OK I'll send the money tomorrow" caused delays and costs onto other projects beyond his deal. Had he paid promtly, then of course it would have been a simple thing to drain the oil, brake-clean the area, reach down from above and zap the pin hole where the leak in the fancy ass extended sump was dripping from. And that would have taken about the time it takes to read the word ZAAAAAAAAP. But he repeatedly promised to pay his bill, and didn't from 9 March till early May when he sent two friends to pick it up. Now I have quite a number of friends in car repair in one form or the other, and when they have read this or I've shown them where Labo says "I'll take it to some other shop and you must pay whatever they say it'll cost ", essentially an open ended thing, they have universally said "Fuck that." Nobody would agree to that. Nobody. I have no idea what you do to pay the rent but in the event that a customer or client decided they weren't happy with something you did I believe you would not agree to have another place have an open bill that you're supposed pay whatever this unknown shop will decide to. You can say you would but you don't exist except as a first name so your credibility is nil. As for the EXPIRED BELTS. Had the belts remained in the car there would have been no problems. I argued for 20 minutes that they were perfectly fine in the car. It was unfortunate that they got scooped up when the other guys friend were picking up the stuff, unfortunate coincidence that they were both black colored. But they were EXPIRED BELTS. Again a big screaming outrage and a unilateral announcement that I will do this or that and pay whatever he makes up isn't the way to get co-operation. But above all they would never had been a problem had the belts remained in the car. I only removed them because it was midnoght and I was wet and cold and tired of listening the high pitched whining "I'm sooooooo worrried about these getting stolen in one night...." The rest of your crap, bugger. Go put your name up like the rest of us do or get out of here. First name, last name, real location. Otherwise you have zero credibility.
