and my mom just informed me that "my" towing rig may be getting claimed by the bank (my meaning my aunt's truck and she took out a loan against it she hasn't been bothering to pay)

Seats are already sold. Jake Sturgeon bought them, drives the black brat at Rallyx. They really aren't what he needs so if your seat is a better fit for him he would probably be interested in a trade/deal.

thing is it's not my seat, it's Todd's and I may not be his only/last codriver so he may need it in the future for someone with normal sized hip bones

mostly I'm looking for a seat I can use for riding with him, or someone else, or if I ever get around to building a car, for myself as a driver

but I haven't been looking too hard because I just don't have the money to run in any of those scenarios

ok, I just signed up as a volunteer, but I was serious about needing to know if I can camp on stage (unless there is a reasonably priced campground nearby, but I'd prefer free over paying to camp)

Merilee I could probably loan you a seat for idaho. I'm not exactly the svelt marathoner I was in my past, so I've got a couple of large-ish seats.

first choice, Sparco Evo 2 (also called Evo L i think, depends on what year it was made)
second choice, Cobra Imola

anyway, they are both fitting me just fine, and i'm around 38" waist. maybe find an oregonian with the same seats and try fitting into them? If it works out size wise you're welcome to use em...

Thanks Chris, but even with Gene's entry fee and tire help there's just no way we can afford to go and run. I think it's pretty awesome though how many of you guys are willing to help us out for wanting to see that Audi out there!

And seats are funny things, I saw a woman who probably weighs the same as I do, but a good 8-10 inches shorter fit into a seat I couldn't get into and a tall and super skinny guy that needed the bigger seat for the same reason I do (his hip bones just plain wouldn't fit). So, the lesson I learned is that fat can be temporarly readjusted to somewhere else, but bones leave you just plain fux0red.

I'm planning on roadtripping up there from NorCal, looking for people to ride-share and split gas and possibly lodging.

camping is not out of the question if there are some decent sites around w/some showers.

big ass dodge ram 2500 quad cab, so plenty of space for people, gear, etc.
