The Idaho Rally (July 9-11) has the opportunity of a lifetime. No restriction for engine or drive train. You can pull your restrictor, re-map and go to town. I went trough a lot to get this done. Somebody please if you know anybody with a group b car or a hillclimb monster tell them about the Idaho Rally. This might be the only chance to run a stage rally in one of these road eating machines. Feel free to pass on my cell # 599.4780

I so very much wish Todd and I could make it in the Audi, he is putting it back together, but no way either of us could afford it. Too bad, because even as a replica, with no restrictor that beast would be a blast and the roads would be perfect for it.
I am trying to figure out a way to get there and volunteer. Any camping sites nearby, or camping on course available? |

Lets have a Get Todd to Idaho fund .... don't much care if he gets back ![]() Plus he can borrow our R3 HNR if needed. |

Todd has an HNR, I don't. I don't have a seat either (my hip bones don't fit into the one he's got, I borrowed one when we ran Olympus a few years back). |

Blake Lind and Joel Pacello just bought the old rolled ae-86 that Jesse Fairbanks has had in his garage for awhile now. Wish I could remember that old owners name I am quite sure some of you know this car. They are installing glass body panels and the engine this week and will be a Idaho Rally.
Anyway it has seats in it that are too big for those two bean poles. You might be able to work a trade with them even if it is just for this event. Please come merilee, That way I will have someone else other than Bradley to bounce my noobie co-driver questions off of. Cody and I are trying to scrape some cash together to get there. We just barely missed early registration and are still working on the gas money. Wish us luck. Lets get that shortened kraut out there too! Zap zap my ass... |

hey, I'm a n00b codriver myself, I've only got 3 1/2 stages of experience and one of those was the ORV park and doesn't count
however, thanks for the info about the seats, can you get me in touch with Jesse, I might be interested in buying one of them from him Right now Todd's goal is to make it to the Larison Rock Hillclimb, it's close by, it'd be a good testing ground for the Audi, it doesn't require restriction either and the entry fee is under $100 for both days (ok, only 4 runs, but still...) I know for certain if there was a way he'd want to run Idaho over a hillclimb |
