But now I'm gonna go all Yuropean on ya.... the description for the video says "tight and twisty roads"... have any of you ever SEEN af twisty, let alone tight gravel road in a forest? :-).

Naah - just messing with ya. Cool to see some grass roots rallying for you guys.

Cool - but show it to Grant who's posted the vid - 'cause the stuff in the video isn't really tight nor twisty :-).

Anyways - I've actually been to Washington twice - great area, and really large trees you have on those parts :-).

Well yeah, see the thing is we don't really get to rally on those roads any more, do we?

It's a tight and twisty rally by US standards. Tight and twisty doesn't make for the best video so alot of that is left out. Also this was made only using video from 2.5 of 5 cameras we had on stage.

Well also you're doing that bad thing I get scolded for all the time : comparing something to something else, elsewhere, and speaking in relative terms.

What Doivi Clarkalainen is referring to is years ago when we'd go out playing and find narrow twisty roads, usually climbing and usually going nowhere so not too useful for stages but fun to drive when the bushes are kissing the mirrors.

By the way, when you see these roads Brian, do you see why I push longer cars like the Xratty and 240 and why I push 2,3 turbo motors?

By the way, I live less than 3,5km from the airport here, so next time give me a little warning and you can get picked up.

Hey! You want to come over and do an event?

Just wait for day two. It will be better.

This is the first time we've ever tried to make a rally review video. We also tried to do same day, which is impossible with such a small team and limited resources. Max Attack is the best thing going on in US rally right now and if I can help that to grow bigger and better I'm in!

One funny thing was the time when we had only one light in our motel room. There were four cameras/batteries being recharged and four laptops running all at the same time on Saturday night. My new Canon XL1 didn't survive past day 1. Forgot the dust cover and a few poorly chosen positions on stages 1 and 2 resulted in complete coverage in dust. Hopefully not too much to get cleaned/repaired.

Nice work Grant and the Co. crew. You guys were covering a bunch for having such a small crew.Looking forward to the Saturday footage.

Also fun hanging out with you guys and the other Max Attackers on Saturday night.smiling smiley

and did you ever find out what happened to Mitch and the Keg?

Hope you guys made it home safely. No way in hell I could have gotten up and driven home at 6am Sunday..

Burresses, we missed you guys out there. The roads were great, to spite what the intraweb haters say..smiling smiley

Rally On!

back when we still used to run oregon trail outside of tillamook I recall hearing "drivers" bitching about the roads being too tight and twisty

drivers in quotes because imo a "real" driver would never call a road too tight or too twisty

Who said anything about the roads being not great?

And who are you calling haters?

Remember Spider Lake in Shelton? That was a stage like no other.

Great job by Grant and crew and the MaxAttackers.
