What's the scoop? Tell me what-sa happenin'!
What's the scoop? Tell me what-sa happenin'!

Anyone:
going?
care?
wanna unload?

I'm gonna course work, maybe, if they get it together. Bringing my 15 year old nephew to his first rally. Should I try and get him laid, too?

Maybe, Rally Anarchy needs their own version of pro-piks What stage will Block crash on? What team will post the most over-the-top jive-ass post event Press Release.

Who will win the Max-Attack? Those VWs eat a lot of fuel pumps. ;-)

I will be there administering MaxAttack!.

2 rallies in 2 weeks is a little busy. It's raining today, so the lawn won't get mowed til I get back.

I expect insane driving from the MaxAttackers. smiling smiley

I am trying to figure out how to fit my 2 meter radio in my XR4...it doesn't fit like I thought it would. If I don't get time to fiddle with it, I'll just leave it in the Legacy and drive that (which is what a smart person would do).

My worker assignment has also reverted to its original one...the joys of having worked controls and having a HAM ticket, I was listed as having two different assignments on two different lists!

Two zip ties, four screws, eight washers and a 15" chunk of mahogany deck board, and the XR4 has a wicked awesome radio installation. And by that, I mean there are no cigarette lighters or mag mount antennas involved (in the primary radio, the HT is another story).

I'd just get over to Sunday River and see if you can register. I'm allegedly working with BMR, which will be South Arm stages and Middle Dam stages.

If you're getting no joy finding officials to tell you where to go, try my cell six oh three 7 eight uno oh eight 3 to and I can probably find the stage captain or tell you a place to meet Sat. AM.

i did it! i volunteered and had a blast. a few stages were cancelled on friday so they up for some miles at studervants delight, i was the guy who had to hold 300+ fans back until the end of the first stage. i am glad i did my part for the rally, other then running low on fuel and having to drive 20 minutes out to oquossoc at dark, on the way back we saw 3 moose on the road in 54 miles. great odds to die a 60+mph in the mountains and covered in darkness if you ask me.

Brian (and everyone),
Thanks so much for the help. Sorry things were a bit hectic and I was more than a bit hunover. Long day Sat. working 5 controls, moving flying finish locations, finish car, radio locations, very unhappy spectators, scoring inquiries, etc.
Ted

ted,
i was not involved enough to feel the hectic. i had a really good time with the spectators all day, i am very like them, just hardcore fans who enjoi rally. i got to shot the shit with drivers/co-drivers, wives, straight necks and Team Subaru fans alike. i heard alot about how the spectators would like to see and participate in the rally.
turns out they/we had some great ideas.
Andrew,
i can barely speak/read english, i just was not designed to. i had no idea merkur was pronounced merkour. that is a bitchin' ride. your quote or the day was regarding new hampshire tax revenue:
"Firmly planted in the nineteenth century"

Next year iam going with atleast 5 words of french on tongue.

I refuse to pronounce it however it is that it's supposed to be pronounced. I call it like I read it and the other pronunciations remind me of douche bags Porsche owners who insist upon the uh at the end.

Great to see all you guys, thanks so much for all the hard work. Ted you looked burned out!
First time thorugh the long stage we came into the finsh and this huge mother crowd, I'm thinking WTF did I miss that this was a WRC event? Second tiem through we missedteh FF board and saw teh stop board at speed... that was scary for a moment!

We never did get our time sorted for the first run... oh well... it's not like it made a difference anyway, but if we had still been in the running for MaxAttack! it would have.

Friday was a bit of a downer, but Saturday was a real rally and made up for it!

I'm still high!

-Martin.
