'79 volvo wagon, We caught a lot of air in that wagon, Streets of San Francisco style ( God rest Carl Malden's soul). I think we hit the jumps on Lombard street on prom night. Ole and Tron down at Volvo Centrum always wondered how I broke so may motor mounts...

nice, a CJ-2A... my father had one of those in the garage till i was 10 years old.

i went to prom in my girlfriends father's car. a '98 Maxima V6 with 12" subwoofers. that was a fun ride. i enjoyed the drive there and back more than the prom and the afterparty. "wait, this car has six speeds? !?!?!?"

I'm just waiting for some rallyist to say they went to prom in a box van full of rally tires and spare parts...

I think if I took a box van to prom I'd take the time to clear out some floor space for the post dance activities, if you know what I mean.

At my HS we had sophomore/junior prom and senior ball.

To the prom I took my mustard yellow 81 242 DL. Spent all day spit shining that thing. I thought it looked great, my date still thought it was ugly.

To the senior ball my pops and I finished up the 69 MG Midget. British racing green on wire wheels. Such a fun car. As I was leaving this local approached me driving a Ford torino, starsky and hutch style, and wanted to race. Talk about picking on the little guy.

Zap zap my ass...
