Interesting.

Since you're already going to the trouble of building that contraption, why not just leave the stock pedal alone, and compensate for the pedal ratio in the balance bar swingarm? (ratio there would need to be about 1.5:1)

We only changed the ratio of the stock pedal after testing the unit and determining the pedal force was too high (which is also highly dependent on the coefficient of friction of the brake pads being used - in this case Carbotech XP-10s). So, in hindsight, knowing what we know now - your idea is a good one.
