I answered it honestly, which pretty much was diametrically opposed to the results they'd like to market to -- the flat-billers who buy the latest and greatest electronic/clothes/gizmos.

But that's the stae motto of Massivetwoshits, and RA is archtypical Midwestern, and their henchmen are SoCal....which many say is just NE with a suntan.
I actually suggested that MA should adopt that as their cutsie motto on their licence plate since it is by far the most common exchange between people there.

Yeah, I couldnt even answer the questions about buying the lastest technology-packed gizmo because there was no "I wouldnt buy it" option. Pretty poor assumption to think that everyone is going to buy some new gizmo at some point.

Too bad no open response questions besides what you do on your weekends.

Well, I was answering honestly until I got to the clothing brands question. Not a single designer label listed. I may be rolling around in dirt and motor oil, but that doesn't mean I'm not wearing Seven jeans while I do it. Then again, I am the most fashionable rallyist I know.

I can buy half a dozen pair of double front Carhartts for the price of one pair of those Sevens, and judging from the knees on the ones I'm wearing now, time to go get some more...

I'm a curmudgeonly 16-18 year old female pacific islander.

Seven's come from the factory already properly worn in, hence the price.

I don't think I've ever paid more than 15-20% of retail.
I grew up wearing Carhartt stuff. I need to get to the outlet next time I'm up in Wyoming actually. Biggest problem I have with their pants are that they fit me really, really strangely.
For us bachelor types, I've found hot jeans means you get to bang hot girls.

I'm surprised they didn't have Levi's on there. Just wait to get the things on sale and you got 20-30 jeans.

Most all of my clothes I buy on sale/clearance anyway. I still buy from stores like Express/Gap/Urban Outfitters/Puma. Hell, I just went to DSW on Saturday to buy some new Puma shoes for $35.

But the best story of late adoption with clothing trends comes from this Express hoodie I bought. I got the thing on sale and it was $30 (originally $98 WHO THE FUCK PAYS almost a hundred bucks for a hoodie?). Was just a dark green hoodie with faint/faded (faded means more $$$ in fashion) barbed wire print around the whole thing. Then had an additional 20% mark down because I have an express card thing and they send me random coupons (spend X get X% off). So there I am spending under $25 for a hoodie some chump spent $100 on to be first in line to get. Suckers.

But I'm sure someone will call me a chump for buying express clothes.

True story though. Not really based on the jeans, but if you at least "look" fashionable you'll get laid by hotter chicks. You can still get the "look" by buying last years styles or imposter brands.

I'm taking up gold panning next spring. See, I like to hike, but really don't see the purpose of walking around in the mountains or forest. It's almost a waste. But to go hike and camp and pan for gold gives a potential reward and totally makes it worthwhile.
