OK all you card carrying Crazy Car Crashing People, the 12th it is. Let's make it early evening so we can HEAR!!

But as we've tried SO FAWKIN OFTEN in the past, Frumy Jason is right.
We ought to make these things a regular thing, and actually budget time to be responsible and GO---and drink beer.

Ever since the first CAR event I went to in Spring 84 I've said we need to have a regular routine KNOWN meeting place so we can get to know each other as peoples and it should absolutely have BEER available. (In the mid 80s we had some lame ass meetings on the East Side and for some reason the guys (?) over there insisted it be a a fawking pizza place with only sodie pop. Yeah SODIE POP FERCHRISTSAKES, GAG!!*
Sodie POP is forbidden in my religion. So that sucked big weenies 8(.

But how can we budget time on a regular basis and have it so we get bunches of peeps to actually show up?

*I've told peeps in UK and Sweden at their monthly meetings about the horror story of no beer and I swear on my Cossie cylinderhead may allah strike me dead, there was an audiable GASP! then SILENCE before somebody meekly asked "did we hear ya right? No beer?....."
When I affirmed that there was all over heads shaking "no no it can't be..."

IF we are EVER going to increase the participation levels it's up to us active and semi retired types to LEAD THE WAY and drink more beer!

EVERYBODY ought to drag along some likely marks, I mean victims, er recruits!!

Local 69 Seattle and "nearby" Call to the Bar -- what time ?
November 26, 2009 01:46PM
Okay what time, it's dark by 5:00, or never gets light out if it's raining ...

If we get in early we should have better space control versus also ran ?

I've never been there so whom has how about some plan ?

Do we have video playing equipment access, should we bring rally porn ?

What's this about JVL buying beer ?

As always IMHO

Well...... I haven't heard otherwise so Robert, Cristy and I will be there, even if it is just to see who will show. What is this thing you call snow?

Man we're rally drivers! Who's scared of flurries? Last time I lived in the PNW I went skiing at baker, in a snow storm, driving my 250hp miata on bald summer tires! Comes from going to college in a remote part of Maine I guess, but don't let a teeny little Seattle sleet stop ya! That being said, I'm still in San Diego where it's going to rain the next four days... So I'll try to catch the next meet-up. Have fun and drink a couple of brews for me, looking forward to meeting everyone some time soon!

There is absolutely no way it will snow... I mock the weather gods... My car is ready so it won't happen...
But there is a damn nice parking lot at Boeing field to drift in! Better limit to myself to soda if it dares to snow winking smiley
