Damn... my bad - Matra Djet! I've never seen one w rally lights so that fooled me. And I know Matras. Once almost bought one w Ford V4 (same as SAAB/Taunus, I think). The one in the pic looks better, though. V4 model's a bit ugly.
Simca Abarth's like A110 too.
Italians - Webers were ok but the wiring, etc drove me crazy. And no spares! The longest Dio Bros waited a tranny seal for Urraco was 1.5 years.

Yeah the later Matras had a mighty "Big Block" V4 1,7 liter High Compression and 2 port insug stock... some guy in Italy got hold of me and wanted allsorts of crazy parts but his english was impossible, I can read Italian OK but hell I don't write itr!
When I TRY to think it's just like when I try to think Spanish: French comes out!
They're so close. Too bad I couldn't say THEN "piston STAMPATA!!!!" (See that's not like French!)

The Simca Abarths are amazing!

Yes you're right, the 530 is a bit of an ugly duck.

You can't be serious about waiting 1.5 years for a transmission seal.. somebody somewhere must have forgotten to do their job. That's insane.

Actually, yes. When I was a teenager I was big time into early Corvettes. My first car was almost a 1960 'Vette but couldn't quite swing the $8000 for the project car that would be worth about $100,000 today. sad smiley I can still tell you off the top of my head that they made 10,261 Corvettes in 1960.
