Hey all....I am now a 'rep' for Lassa Rally Tyres/Rally-tire.com in the US and you can contact me directly to order. (You can still contact George or Burak directly as well, nothing has changed there)
I've attached the PDF too, but in general, it looks like this: Rally 1 (175/65/14) - $114/ea Rally 2 (205/65/15) - $138/ea Rally 3 (195/65/15) - $162/ea OR Rally 3 (205/65/15) - $169/ea Racing 2 (tarmac, 225/625/17) - $211/ea -The Rally 3s are directional and you need to specify quantity of left and right tires. -Local taxes and shipping will be extra. -I am not the one actually shipping/billing....Rally-Tire.com fulfills all orders and receives all payments. TO ORDER: Just send me an email with your full name, billing and shipping address, phone # and email. Do NOT send any credit card or bank/account info. I'll process the order and you'll get an invoice from Rally-Tire and its that easy! For those of you wondering what the heck this is all about: I ran the Rally 2s last year (rookie year) and I really liked them....ran Prescott Rally and Seed 9 Rally and will be using the same 4 tires to run Desert Storm next month, with 2 brand new ones for backup....the Rally 2s are built for durability, and they DO last. These were coarse/dry/sand/rocky rallies. I de-beaded one at Prescott, went 9 miles to service on it, re-beaded it, and it was fine.... I liked them so much I bugged Burak and George about working for them selling these on the West coast...long-story-short is the selling agreement you see above. I'll be moving up to the Rally 3s this year after I run though those. I want to publicly thank Burak and George at Rally-Tire.com for working with me and helping a VERY grassroots rally team make it a little bit easier to rally this year. I'm sure they could work with any tire reseller in the US, and instead they kept it in-house, but worked with a little guy to get the word out. I think that says a lot about them as individuals and as a business. Let me know if you have any questions. If I don't have immediate answers, I'll find out the answer. OH, here's the official LRT website, looks like they re-vamped it: http://www.lassarallyteam.com/Main_Page.html Jon Burke - KI6LSW Blog: http://psgrallywrx.blogspot.com/ Edited 1 time(s). Adam, are you going to Idaho again? I'll be there.
Although, I don't hold any inventory, so whether its shipped to my place and then I deliver, or drop-shipped directly to you, there's still going to be a shipping charge. In general, drop-shipping directly to you is the best bet, since you'll get them way before any rally I'll be at. Jon Burke - KI6LSW Blog: http://psgrallywrx.blogspot.com/ |

The rally-tire truck will most likely be at Olympus and Oregon Trail. rally gods would turn in their graves if they ever knew Lada's were now part of EU rallying!!! |

What's the compound like on these? I'm not running desert rallys so I don't need a super hard/high temp compound. I'm looking for my warmest rally to be Rally WV if I run it but I'll be shooting for RA regional stuff like 100AW, Ojibwe, LSPR which would require similar to medium/soft compounds from other tire companies.

They're all a medium compound tire. The Rally 2s are built for durability...and they do last, I ran Prescott Rally and Seed 9 (about 140 stage miles plus transits) on one set and I'll show you some before/after pics. The Rally 3s are the 'performance' tire, so I assume they won't last as long, but I've never used them personally. I'm switching over to them this summer, hopefully for prescott. I'm running on these for desert storm as well. Before: ![]() after ![]() ![]() Jon Burke - KI6LSW Blog: http://psgrallywrx.blogspot.com/ |

Similar to the Rally 2? yes! if you look at the PDF I attached on my first post, the tread is pretty much identical to the Rally 2s, they're just the 14" rim and a bit narrower. BTW, I have details on how to sipe/cut/groove these for muddy/wet/colder conditions if anyone is interested. Jon Burke - KI6LSW Blog: http://psgrallywrx.blogspot.com/ |

Unless you get them used for $20 a piece? I've never bought any tires new, but rumors on the internet say that in something like LSPR running close to freezing on softs might be a good idea?
I'm not being sarcastic here. I don't have any experience on tire selection to temperature and I'm just speculating off the recommended temperature ratings for tires listed from the manufacturer. I know running up in hardness means more durability. I guess someone who's ran on low 40's to frozen gravel with something other than soft tires can chime in to help me? I have just run what I had at LSPR in 2008 which were old ass Bridgestone soft compound tires. For NEFR I ran the Bridgestones in the rear and used Hankook mediums in the front. Sno*Drift is easy since I just run the General Altimax tires I got for free! But considering for 14's it's either these or Michelins at twice the price. |
