another Terratrip question
February 26, 2010 02:29PM
So got it installed, sensor in and working, the mileage reads up to 99.999 in the total display, and in the interval display it reads to 9.999 miles then goes to 0. Can I change it to read to 2 decimals not 3? This is a 303 Plus.

I read through both the online Terratrip manual, and the sweet guide by Anders, but did not find mention of a procedure. The Terratrip site says it reads to 999.99 and 99.99.

Hmmm, I wonder if "different odos" have different stock resolution.

Press buttons till it fixes itself. winking smiley

Also amusing is the idea of putting it on jackstands and in gear so you can test the odo. OF COURSE I cannot recommend doing something so dangerous and reckless.

Anders

ps: post pictures if you do. winking smiley

It works, the resolution is just too fine. I am sure it can be changed, just don't know how. I did try the manly thing and pushed every button to no avail....

As a point of trivia, the "Ferrari" in Ferris Bueller was not a Ferrari at all but a kit that used a 280Z as a base called a Velo Rossa Spider.

Sorry if I ruined it for ya.

I knew the guy who designed and built the Vello kits, and spent quite a bit of time driving his demo around when I lived in Phoenix.

looks to be the road survey model, resolution down to 1 meter. Does not appear to be switchable. We can work around it.

Or just put masking tape (painted black) over the last digit... That would drive me nuts with it changing so fast!
