Yeah, titanium is lighter and stronger, that is dedication, exchanging human body parts for go faster body parts ....

The miserly CRX (I think it was the HF) was RATED at a hair over 50mpg.

Maybe some people could break that, most probably couldn't.

I can attest that an 1800cc Golf 5-spd could do 40mpg, a 1600cc Sentra (automatic!) could also do 40mpg. They were, however, shitboxes.

My co-worker's wife is looking into a used Caliber. I think it's butt-ugly, but it's supposed to do just under 40mpg, and you could fit the Sentra inside the thing. There's progress but people vote with their dollars and they'd rather have creature comforts instead of good MPG. I can imagine what the Caliber's drivetrain could get if it was in a Neon chassis instead of a mini-SUV/crossover/tall wagon/whatever the fuck it's called.

Don't forget that they were all AWD and turbo.

Small wonder the fucker is so quick to temper.

They will fix you up to better then you've been in the 25 years I've known you.

Yup; you were bitching about all this 25 years ago. 25 years ago you were not blind too.

'Pre-existing condition?'

It's been about 35 years. I always say you can only devote so much of a meager brain to pain suppression for only so long.

and yeah it pisses one off when you know there is now way to get around the pre-existing condition bullshit when I checked nto any private insurance. Pretty hard to lie when there's already scars from the previous 3 operations.

As for blindness, there's focus and the there's comprehending what you see and making judgments. I've been on stages and pointed out to co-drivers eagles or hawks on a post or branch and even when pointing---while driving fairly quickly, still had thenm not be able to see what is obvious to me 1/4 mile away.
Their eyes were fine and they had good focus but they were not "seeing" what was sticking out to me.
Doing Thunderbird in 91 I was pointing out a fox on a snowy field to the boy and nope didn't see it, and I had dave Dunn call on the radio from another 1/4 mile back "see the fox over there?" "Yeah I'm pointing it out to Jamie" and he came back "yeah I see you pointing, did he see it?"

The worst was trying to stand and finish partial steps at one go when the pain was the worst. That's where some big, previously never before type errors occurred. Despite setting up procedures intended to catch slip ups.

grrrrrrrr.

I hope for you that the docs fix you up. Bummer that you've had to live with pain for so long. Better getting fixed up later then never!!

'Pain management' has nothing on 'Living without pain.'

I guess I'll not be buy a new car ..(not that I would any how) .... But I drive with both feed all the time every time I drive ...And allways have ... My Dad did too ..And he never raced or drove over the speed limit in his life ... So there going to "discrimination" against me and make so "I" can have a new car ...Shame on them ..Wheres my lawyer and the NAACP when I need them ...

Why do they keep pulling the 'chlorine' out of the gene pool...?...

It was a much better gene pool when the dumb would kill them self over some dumb stunt... Now we have to save them and there breeding ..

Atleast we could get a sort of breeding permit. When you do stupid crap and Darwin doesn't get you we can revoke your permit and prevent your genes from polluting the world

Breeding permit thats what we need ... You have to take a test to drive ...Why not a test before breeding ... I'm sure the stupid are really going to breed once this health bill passes ... No the stupid have free health care now ... May bad ...

The stupid breed now, look at the statistics and figures for the last 40 years.

Except a small portion so caught up in satisfying their latest whim that they'd prefer not to be forced to spend anything on kids.

And a minority that can't figure out how to.

And anybody want to guess what political slant those idiot breeders tend to be and where they tend to live?
