Well I can say for sure that JVL had lots-o-fun at the rally. I enjoyed the time spent with him at tech and the service areas.

I just hope a bunch of goat ropers from Texas don't have someone read this thread to them....

Most Texans I've met have pretty good senses of humor. Hopefully they recognize quote from Full Metal Jacket; one of the funniest movies every made.

In defense of JV, his main gripe with the Hansolo was the cost, $700 for a hunk of injection molded plastic?

not true. the HANS 'value' edition (the one for $695) is not CF, it's injection molded plastic - I have one.

Don't know..I helped him pull the leg back off so he could take his shoes off but I left the parking lot before it got anywhere near the belly stage....

The weekend before the event I asked him to try the suit on. you, know, just to make sure. He didn't want to.

He also did not realize that a motorcycle helmet from 1979 or an SA1990 were not legal any more!
