I'm unsure of the age of it, maybe somebody would know based on the color, but damn does this thing suck. Metal tube frame all hurtin' my thighs, an shoulders. I can't imagine having my codrivers/passengers use this thing.(I got for them, I have seats that fit me) Came with 3 point that I can sell or use in the daily though... Do new sprints suck this bad? Or am I just a sissy? Brap Brap. |

So the edge of the seats are where they are. Metal tube or fiberglas still the same. The new Sparcos are Sprint V and pretty comfy. You should have a FIA date tag on the seat somewhere. The nice thing about metal framed seats is they can be adjusted a bit. I sat in an entry level MOMO and thought it was terrible. As we used to say in the car business "there is an ass for every saddle"
It's pretty amazing how uncomfortable many seats are, especially after a day of banging around in them. I think the manufactures all think race drivers are 5'3" and 130lbs. No Pizza Huts in Europe?? Looks like the seat doesn't have the 5 hole for the anti-sub belts. Not sure about RA or NASA but in CARS you can't modify the seat...
