-Yes you waisted my time by not listening to me or others.
-You made assumptions without listening to the facts. - you said you would come down to look at the car. I waited, You didn't come. - the price was stated up front at the very beginning. You stated you didn't want me to start parting out the car until you came down to see it. Again, you didn't show up. Then I find you on this and other forums asking the same questions but didn't listen to the replies you got from others. Did you ask anybody in the Merkur community? Most know this car and others that I have built. -you need to get your facts straight regarding Targa. This was the first rally for my navi and only my 2nd attempt at it. The car is wayyy faster than our experience at rally. Maybe we should have crashed it. Would that be more interesting for ya? If you REALLY want to know how & what about our event try asking. #1 yes the car did not finish in 2007 due to a broken driveshaft when we could not get the parts shipped to Newfoundland in time to fix it. Everyone knows that story except you! Did you ask what broke/why it broke/what has been done since then to ensure it won't happen again. Nope, "the car is unreliable" #2 We did NOT DNF in 2008.Who told you that crap?? We finished with 78% of the competitive stages and received the finisher's medallion for doing so. Again, did you ask why we missed any stages to find out the story? Nope, and again "the car is unreliable". Obviously you know very little to nothing about Targa event or rallying. Did you try to ask fellow competitors that have seen the car in action and what they thought of the car?? You stated you wanted something 2wd to "get started" in. What the hell do you think you're going to buy for $17k??? Did you ask to see the appraisal? No Did you ask if the car had a log book? No Did you ask me if I was willing or going to have the car inspected by a CARS Tech regarding what it might/would need to have a log book issued? No So I'm done with you. You're full of it and have little to no idea of what you want or need. Claiming that the car needs this & that without knowing the true facts has now caused ME great grief in trying to sell this car when all the questions were answered in advance. I never said the car was ready to run. I told you want it needed and what could be upgraded if you really wanted to at a later date but NOT necessary to get started. You claimed it needed "thousands of dollars" to fix it when the actual price is hundreds. Thanks for that!! The ONLY people I have blamed at all are those who waist my time and haven't a clue. Good luck with your Rally career! - wrx_ Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > xrian Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > So I guess mine must be a POS !?!?!?! > > Appraised at $35,000 and over $50,000 into it > and > > only asking $17,000 plus all the spares and > a > > trailer to boot!!! Car in Windsor, automatic, fairly clean looking in the photos, $1500.
NTDWM, but I've seen it in the bank parking lot a few times over the past couple of years. http://forum.merkurclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17205&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= Cheers, Ted Pure mathematics is the enemy of every truly creative man -- Sir Alec |
