I don't think Hankook is bringing any into the US anymore; unless someone has a secret stock, you'll have a hard time finding any.

I thought Tabor Rally Team was the source for Silverstone tyres in the USA. Aren't they located in the Oregon?

Yes the Tabors sell silverstone tyres.

I ran on the Lassa Rally 3's at Oregon Trail and loved them. I started with 4 new tires, the fronts are still very good, the rears are good practice tires now. I also have a set of Rally 2's, they are a bit harder compound, but Burak claims they are more durable. Rally-tire.com

What are you driving that tears up the rears so much? RWD?

Also, what tire brand/model/hardness do you recommend for a n00b like me? I'll be driving a Sentra (FWD).

Max! Looking for tires is a good sign we might see you out and about. Or are you just building a nice garage rally model? No Alibi Rally (Gravel TSD) in June would be a good debut for the car and driver. Hope to see you soon. Hugs to you and the Mrs.

Yep. RWD Merkur. Since I really am still a noob too (only done 2 stage rallys) I was all about finding good used tires to run on and stuff. After driving .001 miles on gravel on good tires I can say I will always find room in the budget for proper tires. They made a HUGE difference in how the car feels.

I would think you could get 2 rallys out of a set of Rally 2's, and only need to replace the 2 drive wheels after that. So start with 4 new, some used spares, and buy 2 new tires every other rally and swap the good ones from the rear to the front

I am working on converting the Jackalope. The taco is down and out. Blown front diff, toasted rear axle bearings. I need to tinker, so the Jackalope gets it.

Thanks for the info!

BTW, we just bought our first house. Moving in tomorrow.
