The Robin Hood Rally series guarantees competitors better media exposure than tradition rally series.

Wow.

How long before the rules require us to operate our rally cars from a minimum safe distance of 5 miles via satellite uplink?

I don't see much of a rollcage showing in that "rally" car.

And isn't that a convertable hardtop I see or was the jaws of life cut just very accurate?

I think it was a 3 series BMW hardtop/convertible.

There are some other pictures on the WMUR website.

I don't care what it was! Why did it make TV News? It is like the New Bullrun or Gumball. I think it will stink things up even worse.

The "jaws of life" don't cut, but sawzalls do. (It doesn't explain why the sun visors are still on the windshield... GOTTA be a droptop of some fashion)

But it's all good, they had, like, seatbelts and helmets and junk.

Latest....

Apparently the course was an out and back with the start line also the flying finish. The BMW that got clobbered was waiting to make its run.

"We didn't think someone would take a 430hp 2wd car and go full throttle on a bumpy narrow 2 lane road."

unbelievable. Lucky some of those spectators did not get killed.

Who puts a flying finish at a start line?
