Ray was good for seconds per mile (Take this short cut!) and never a once got lost in the notes + had many excellent stories of daring-do for here and there along the way.

It was an honor to have Ray ride in my seat of terror. Ray did only ever once tell me to "Settle Down!!" We kept it on the road.

Not what I heard..Ray got lost in the route book nearly every stage. That's from himself....he felt there were too many instructions these days ( us old farts are used to way less info ) and was running a lot on instinct. Ray is an awesome co-d for sure and thinks the world of you and your ability.

I wouldn't let him run again if Icould do anyting to stop it...and I would figure a way.
