wait for 12 inches of ice on the nearest lake.

go have fun!!

have bald tires? make them grip in the ice!

we generally plow a ~1-mile "course" on the ice, and have some 'time trials' or ice rallyX, or ice HPDE , or whatever you wanna call it. It's a blast!

--sarge

considering where the threadstarter lives, that could be a long, long, LOOOONNNNNGGGG wait

however, that looks like a lot of fun

I-Phone programming! You into that sort of thing? I have a pretty damn good business idea for an app just don't have the time to learn how to program and develop it.

OK, I'll bite. What is it?

A friend is gonna lend me an Android phone, so I will be able to do both iPhone and Android soon.

I got a Droid last month. It's pretty easy, especially if you already know Java. Mike G. has already loaded me up with rally-related projects for it. Grant - you might be interested in some of what we've been doing. Basically, we've been using the Androids as audio-interview tools. Stuff an Android in the face of someone at stage finish, do a quickie interview, and then upload. It's all near-realtime, but the audio could be used as a voice-over in a later video.

Check out the stuff from either Mt. Hood or Seed 9, available on rallydata.com.

I have this bad tendency to start projects in the winter.
This weekend we painted half the inside of the house. The stairway was a bitch with w 10+ foot extender to reach all the way up. Shoulders hurt!
Then we had to empty all the stuff in the carpeted rooms for carpet cleaners coming this afternoon.
Sauna project so far has just been deconstruction. Utilities were marked last week so I can dig the holes for the footers. Hope to do that on Sunday. We invited about 25 friends over for a friend's Thanksgiving on this coming Saturday. We told everyone to bring wine and we'd cook all the food, so Friday and Saturday will be full of cooking delicious food. Hopefully it's nice out. Hope to dig footings on Sunday. Going to use these:

Rally car reprep is coming slower. Got a few coats of macropoxy on the bottom and off the rotisserie. Going to clean up some engine bay stuff, tie strut towers into cage and clean up the wheel wells then macropoxy those. Then it will be reassembly time. Was upstairs checking out the new ECU and engine wiring harness that came with it. Nice stuff.

Lets see....I just helped my brother put up new gutters at the Tahoe house. No other major renovations like that (the benefits of renting) at home.

For the rally car:
tranny rebuild sometime in January once I get the parts.

got rear trailing arms and lat links from William at TSS, so I'll be upgrading those while the car is up on stands and tranny-less.

still need to:
-seal up all the little holes that are letting in tons of dust
-finish the stupid battery disconnect switch wiring
-sand, primer and paint a new used front bumper cover
-I'd like to re-wire the lights (rats nest) with some better relays and junction boxes.

oh....and I need to lose about 25lbs. should be simple enough over the holidays....sure.

ha, I'm not, but they're not exactly rocket science. I'm out of town the next 4 weekends, but could help sometime after that.

Alex...just a 5th gear? I'd just go troll NASIOC FSgrinning smileyrivetrain forum....finding just a 5th gear alone might be tough.

Otherwise, a dealership.
