They were, as usual, right.

John, the 22mm (7/8" WAS the HOT item to use. But going from 5/8" to 3/4" was a dramatic help in brake balance. What I want to emphasize is that the great part was, with large drums and shoes as stock, that this was such a simple upgrade to get the brakes to change from 1) a panic-brake-to-understeer disaster waiting to catch the new rallier out, to 2) a well balanced brake system. Wish all good rally ugrades were that cheap and easy.
