I'm grinnin thru the whole thread myself, so ya we just be BS'n racer style.

Being as how ol'Timm ain't never gonna get his car done, he should go get a turbo Hino out of a Bayliner for power. Now there's a proper 4cy turbo...and makes the Ford V8 lite in comparison...

Yeah, and I was trading times with them on day two of LSPR 07 with my stock 2.0 16v, and 4.46 final. Plus I was running tulips, not notes tongue sticking out smiley

They were also only on tulips and they don't live a few miles from every stage. smiling smiley I only recall that from a post about how they couldn't believe how shitty the tulips were compared to the PNW tulips.

^^^The WORST tulips I had ever run.....day one we were running tulips, there were one-two miles with no instructions and were were hitting some two's and three's as far as corners were concerned in those blind areas, fucking scary stuff when you are used to the near note quality tulips that are produced in this area (thank you Ron Barker!). My brother called a note and said next instruction in 1.3mi or something, I laughed at him over the intercom, I think that is somewhere on video... Day two we borrowed someones notes who hit the drink on day one and tried running notes for the first time ever. I've never driven so slowly, notes were the devil, too much information for my experience level at that point, but we still managed well enough at LSPR!

We use man tulips for men round these parts! None of this hold-your-hand-through-the-stage bs. tongue sticking out smiley But I think they did get some notes for day two from someone who went out on day one. And hey, its not like I drive those roads every day! Once a week is good to keep them fresh in the mind though.

Funny. Watched that video last night Tom, It was something like 1.7 miles. I think he gave you a countdown every .2 just to have something to do.
