Timm?

bwahahahahaha

Timm started at 16. Who actually listens to a broke 16 year old? Still in highschool, now college part time while selling Penguin Windows till they closed, and now GutterMaxx gutter systems....

So yeah, getting my life in order to be able to afford this is my priority....

Anyhow, this kid appears to be starting older than I did. I still hold my opinion that building a car REALLY isnt that hard, it's life that gets in the way if you have the skills and money to do so.

I was wondering what Timm meant. haha I guess I can partially relate to him because I'm a full time college student (sophomore) & part time worker...soon to change though. May just start working full time and take a break from school. Don't know what to get a degree in anyways.

Neigh, my friend, stay in school!! College degree= Job that can afford rally. I've been of the opinion that the what degree doesn't matter as much as a degree... shows you can stick with something/ follow through and are marginally trainable smiling smiley A fair # of folks school and rally at the same time.

Well, I mean, I would go back to school in a year or two. But yeah...I know everyone says that and never does it. I'm just not a school person really...well some subjects...like english...and physics (at least not a fan of it after taking a 3 year break from it). Last time I took physics was my junior year of HS. But I love calculus and algebra mucho grande.

Still, don't know my major.

Doesnt matter. Declare a major in business but for fucks sake don't take a damn break. Every applebees in the country is staffed by students on their 10th year of taking a break from school. Not a single one of them has done anything successful with their "break".

Also Electrical Engineering, Clinical Engineering or BMET are a freaking blast. You remember how fun it was to take apart a Radio when you were little. I get to do that for a living, only now it's CT Scanners and Ventilators.

Gotta agree. I took off time to go racing and poof there went 13-14 years and all I got was learned lathe and mill and MiG and Tig and gas and diesel engine maintenance, suspension build and repair, brakes, a buncha languages, had 20 long term lovers all around the world and a lot of bad habits like reading, and critical analysis.
Din't do me any good at all when I went back to college at 30-31--sex and drugs and rock-n-roll is all evil so do as I say, not as I did!

har har. John you took a break with a plan. He's taking a break with no direction whatsoever.

Also for clarifications sake I was a "break" person too. Spent me some time chasing disasters and seeing the country. Also took some time to try my hand skiing professionally. Didn't do to shabby. But taking a break to be stagnant is pointless. Making a choice to persue somthing else follows a goal.

Stick it out. Figure out what you really like to do, do that at school. It gets really hard to go back sometimes. I think someone here built a rallycar for part of their engineering degree...

Your Nissan needs a "don't mess with texas sticker".

Also, I know why you hydroplaned....

Also, get your friends together and build that thing up for some rally action.

haha what do you mean you know why I hydroplaned? No, I wasn't screwin around trying to slide it on the highway. Seems like alot of my friends like to think that too, except for the two that were actually in the car.

and why the sticker?

Don't mess with Texas is a great saying. I wish I could claim being from TX instead of MN. There are no cool bumperstickers about MN.

As far as the hydroplaning, you posted the damage photo and then this photo was next.

Last time I hydroplaned badly I was on "race slicks"smiling smiley
