I wouldn't worry about being eliminated either. With so few cars, almost everyone makes the A main.

Andrew

I sooo wish I was doing it this year. It will be interesting to see how many more competitors 2012 will bring.

Is there anywhere a coherent report of what happened at the first round?

Is there any rumblings of if or what is planned for the future?

Hey, I's a fawkin dinosaur man---and a 3 time college drop out.
Same thing all three times: too much drugs, sex and bashing my body into the mud---or trees when i was older.

So you're saying somebody won?
I thought a lot of people broke, but still "podium-ed" (since when is that a verb?)
I mean wot da fawk?

^^^LOL

ok...cliff notes..

in 2WD, Matt Johnson won in a RWD Maz-dawg RX7 that he just recently bought.

2nd place was Mr. Zimmer in his all Car-boner Fiberous Miata, running an ebay super charger maxed out at 4psi.

3rd place was professional rally car driver Lauchlin O'Sullivan, fully sponsored in StreetWise Motorsports crazy Toyota FX.

Vay Way was in there too with his turbo focus from the get-go, but got crashed out by a honduh in the final heat. Pretty good action actually.

AWD was M. Gronholm 1st, Foust 2nd, and I forget who in 3rd. Or maybe Foust was 3rd and I forget who was in second. shit, this is why I don't follow sports, I can't remember stats to save my life.

What's really cool about the 2WD guys, is that the top series points winners after the 3 events will get an invite to the xgames. Now, I don't know if that's top 1, or top 2 or top 3, but still...its cool. The only kicker is then you need an AWD car to compete in Xgames that can make the gap jump.

(this is why I'm considering converting to FWD for next year....haha!)

Yes John, in this racing (Friday and Saturday's events are different)
there is a winner (two, actually) eventually.

Perfect for fans with ADD and tweeting cell phones, the events have many short episodes of action with enough time between them to text some pictures and messages to others, go mingle in the paddock and get a cheese taco dog.

If the race sucks, there's another soon and that one could be epic... or not.

I really enjoy this and everyone who came by while we were swigging said they liked it too.

Like the title says, I need a Flophouse for a Freeloader (me) for the Dirtfish rallyX April 14, 15 and 16th.
I left the car near Portland and I'll be up there sometime the 14th.

Car #64

Barring a freebie, what's a cheap place to stay close by?

What car is that (#64)?

I don't think I'd need the Grumpy qualifier.
I think I'd have the Old covered in any circumstance.
I also think I'd have the most un-athletic/decrepit title too.
BTW, I'm much more pleasing with some sleep.
See you at DirtBag?

sleep is overrated.

unfortunately I won't be up there or at the CO event. I'm actually between jobs and trying to nail down an offer. unemployement is kind of bitter sweet: lots of time, no money.
