Shit..I thought it was a pic of Smurfette after a bad nite out.

Sadly I've talked with a few other ralliests that have had expired belts and a yet-to-be-finished car. Its cheaper to not finish the car than finish the car and not finish a stage. Timms just being frugal....

I've met Timm's dad, he was drinking heavily and crying while trying to cover the table saw, bar-b-que and boxes of Xmas decorations sitting in the driveway in the rain. grinning smiley

The jab is at you for taking up the garage for years.

Ah pearls before swine. What I'd give for a garage. I spent many late night hours last month in my rain gear lying in a puddle under the car putting in my new driveline. Yeah it was sissy california rain, but if I had a wet suit, I would have put it on.

Smurf-'ETTE' ?!? Those things are sexed? Now that's disturbing.......

Poor, Jon, he just wanted to make a simple announcement. Well, he should have known better on this forum.

There was not jab at your dad, Timmay, he's the one who has done most of the stuff on your car---this according to every single person who has ever visited there. He ought to finish it and drive it.
The ever so gentle jab was of course at you for yapping about I like this belt better than that belt.. Won't make any difference when the belts are still in a box in 4 years when you've become a professional photographer or a jet pilot or a doctor or a cowboy.eye rolling smiley

And reading comprehension lesson: a passing reference is not "a jab".

That thing going to be out at Olympus?

Ah yes, the mystery people who you'll never name, but always reference. I know Miller, Gene, Doug, possibly Tom, and Adam have seen my car. I'm not sure of anyone else. If I missed someone, sorry, it's been a few years grinning smiley

So, as far as people who actually talk to you, I'm really not worried about what you're little birds say.

And sure, Dad has been doing a lot on my car. So have I. It's called working together. He may be better at something than I am, and I may be better at something than he is.

What's your point? Is he not allowed to help out? It's fun for him.
